Relaxing despite a tropical storm

We felt safe and accommodated during Hurricane Debby. The comfort of the condo helped us to choose to not leave and weather the storm. :) The updates from the property management team were helpful and comforting, also. Thanks.

Great Labor Day weekend getaway

This condo was amazing. The only thing we majorly disliked was that the elevator in the facility didn’t work all weekend l, so hauling beach wagons and coolers with a four year old was a challenge up the stairs. But this is really no fault of this particular condo owner. Carpet could stand to be cleaned and couches were a bit worn out. One of the bathroom showers sounded like we were going to fall thru the floor while standing in it, but all of this was very very minor. we loved this place and can’t wait to come back. Walk to the beach was easy, and there was a grocery store and a few restaurants right around the corner. Parking situation was great. Pool was great. Property manager was great to work with.

No ocean view and property managers aren't helpful at all

This is supposed to be an ocean view property. You can see the ocean but u literally have to stand in the corner and lean out over the balcony railing to see it. The entire week we were there we had a family with a younger child that ran everywhere sometimes from 6 in the morning til well after 1am. I called the property managers to address it and they told me there was nothing that they could do about it but if the noise continued after 10pm I could call the police and file a noise complaint. Then tried to contact Kim, who is listed on VRBO as the property manager and she didn't even respond to me. If we'd stayed in a hotel the hotel would've addressed the noise problem so when you pay $2000 for a week of vacation yoi expect to not be awoken at 6a.m. the entire week. They should've either moved us, moved the people above us or given us some money back because even my kids were bothered by the noise. The kid was jumping and running non-stop the whole week. I don't even think the people above us left the condo bc we'd go to the beach and come back and the noise was still going on. The lights in the kitchen were flickering the whole time while the kid was jumping and running. I have kids n I know its impossible to keep them quite all the time but they didn't even make an effort and I obviously wasn't going to call the police on a toddler. So unhappy with the way my situation was handled and not addressed. Otherwise the location is great. Close the the beach, shops, and stores, there are restaurants there also but either they were closed the entire time we were there. One place was closed on Tues. And Wed. Which is random. The other place claiming to be a raw bar wasn't open the entire week, so that was kind of a mess, no real place to get good seafood so I ended up going to Publix deli and getting my own crab and scallops. Condo was decent except the carpet desperately needs scrubbed. It was clean when we arrived but also had to call property owners about that bc I received an email saying I'd get a text when our unit was ready, n close to 3 hours after check-in time I still hadn't received the text. However the room was clean before 7pm anyhow. Hope anyone booking this place has a much better experience than we did!

Ocean view condo

So the ocean view view was a little stretch. If you lean over the patio/balcony area you can see the ocean between some houses. Not really a sit on your porch, sip coffee and enjoy the waves, more like watch the coming and going if other guests. The condo overall was spacious and clean. The carpets needed cleaning and with covid be prepared to make all the beds up once you arrive. The management company were attentive and maintance were quick to respond.

Nice little getaway

Very close to the beach, few feet away. Not much of a beach view but very close. Clean condo. Nice little town for relaxing.

Great 3 bedroom unit having 2 kids

Everything was great. The fridge/freezer stopped working towards the end of our stay. Hopefully that gets resolved soon. But location and price was great. Would stay here again next time on the island.

Wonderful Condo and great location

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The only thing I can suggest is to update the master bedroom mattress but other than that it was great.

Very impressed with this unit. The weather was wonderful and a great weekend at the beach. Was very nice to have some of the basic needs available.( Dish liquid ect).

Great property, close to beach, wonderful location

We just returned from an amazing trip to Oak Island. The Condo had everything we could possibly need. It was clean, spacious, centrally located just down the street from the beach and next door to Food Lion, Sub Shop, Pizza, etc. The washer/dryer was key, as were the beach buggies and beach chairs. And great pool!! Everything was perfect - we had an amazing trip! The only 2 areas I would look to improve: the noises upstairs - pretty noisy - and there is a sizable gap in the balcony railing between railing and wall which meant our young children couldn't go outside and we had to be extra cautious about leaving that door open, which was scary. Other than that - it was perfect and we can't wait to come back next year!

Roomy And comfortable!

This rental had a roomy floor plan and the decor was very pretty! The beds were comfortable (king sized), which was what we had hoped for. The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots and pans. The condo is in a good location. We walked from the beach to the intercostal waterway very easily. Unfortunately, I must comment on the occupants above us. I hope they are not full time residents or it will be a huge problem. It appeared to have a child that (no exaggeration), literally ran from one end of his condo to the other all evening long until around midnight. We were away most of the days, but even when we came in to eat a quick meal during the day, the running foot steps were a constant. We didn't know who to call about this.
