Jomtien is a great area to stay. While it is quiet and peaceful it also has everything to offer on it's own doorstep: bars, restaurants, supermarkets and Pattaya is only 10 minutes drive away if you want to sample the great nightlife, beaches and shopping.
Climate is tropical and warm all year round, it can be very hot around March-June, July- September from 32-38 oC, very nice climate sunny and comfortable Nov-February.
Jomtien has lots to offer if you are interested in water sports, windsurfing, parasailing, water skiing and scuba diving
Jomtien has a great water park and entertainment complex, for families with children, and anybody who enjoys water slides in general, it's a great day out for all.
Jomtien has very good nightlife with many bars, restaurants, even your more typical Irish bars, with great food both European and Thai, Pattaya's walking street is only a short taxi ride away, and is well worth seeing most visitors go to walking street at least once on there visit to Pattaya.
You can even take in some Thai boxing while you have a beer at the bar, this is great to see and experience on your visit to Thailand.
Golf is a major sport in Thailand and 18 of the finest golf courses can be found in the Pattaya area and within easy reach of the property. Although the courses are of International standard, the prices reflect the low cost of everything in Pattaya. Weekday visitors' green-fees cost around 500 Baht, and another 200 Baht will get you a professional caddy to carry your clubs, provide refreshments and shield you from the sun.
Pattaya Water Park: Just 6 kilometres from the Villa - a ten minute drive along the Jomtien Beach road heading up Pattaya Hill turning left before the traffic lights takes you to the children’s and adults play ground of Pattaya Water Park which is well signposted.
