Very nice location and quaint Victorian. Needs a microwave and some hooks in the bathroom. Also a small dresser for.clothes would be nice. Convenient to restaurants.

Kari is an excellent host, and has done a respectful restoration of this beautiful home. We appreciated her attention to comfortability -- excellent bed and linens. Kitchen was very easy to work in.

Adorable cottage, close to town. Very nice, well equipped kitchen. Fresh eggs were a nice touch. Pretty porch to sit and look at the redwoods around you.

Great location, short ride to Big Basins park or the ocean. I brought my own food, but the Roots market has a great selection. As a lone female traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe in this house. Had a great weekend in Santa Cruz area.

Quaint cottage in a serene setting

We loved our stay in Boulder Creek. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Cruz, while also being close enough to go there any time. The peaceful sound of the brook bubbling right next to the porch was just what we needed on our getaway!

Anniversary getaway

We loved our stay at this adorable historic cottage. Loved all the updates like the beautiful kitchen and the wonderful windows while still keeping the old time charm. Close to some great hikes. A little far from the beach, but we still made our way there several times during our stay.

Quiet Stay in the Woods

We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing weekend in the redwoods. The neighborhood was very quiet and the amenities of Boulder Creek are all within walking distance. For those looking to eat out, Jenna Sue's Cafe and Scopazzi's are excellent. We hope to return for a future stay.

Fun in the trees

Gorgeous Victorian home, great trip, great customer care! Area is close to multiple state parks, tons of hiking. Highly recommend!

Beautiful mountain retreat

Second Stay and Just as Lovely!

So Lovely!

Kari's place was immaculate and serene - just what we wanted for a mother/daughter getaway. It's such a beautiful place and so close to everything yet tucked away on a tiny road in the trees. Everything we needed was there, directions were super clear and Kari is a great host!

Lovely hideaway

My wife and I stayed here during Christmas week, while we were visiting in-laws in San Jose. The house was everything we hoped for: spacious, charming, clean, with a well-appointed kitchen. The setting is incredible, high in the Santa Cruz mountains, redwoods everywhere. We hope to return someday!

This house is lovely and cozy. I went during a winter storm and listened to the sound of the rain and creek next door. It’s a rustic area and it felt like you’re nestled in the trees. The owner was available but gave me my space. In other seasons, there is a ton of hiking and a short walk to the cute downtown.
