Lovely historic home!

Thank you for letting us stay in your home! It’s very spacious, rich in history, yet fully updated and fancy. Food options are a short walk away in an adorable downtown. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

We loved our time in Marthasville!

We loved the history of the Bank Haus. My elderly mom and dad, three of my grown children, and my boyfriend and I stayed in Marthasville for a few days for my niece’s wedding. It is handicapped accessible and made for a comfortable stay for my parents. There was a tornado warning one night and we were able to take cover in the two vaults. The hosts kept us well informed prior to and during our stay! We would definitely book again if our travels ever take us back that direction!

Bank Haus is Convenient to the Katy Trail

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Bank Haus. It is right across the street from the Katy trail and was easy to find. The hosts provide a locked shed for bicycle storage. We loved the historic bank with the modern amenities. After a long days ride on the trail we really loved the comfy mattresses on the beds. Thanks for hosting.

Very charming.

The owners and management attention to detail and communication were outstanding. The weather during our stay was quite threatening and they were on top of keeping us safe by keeping us abreast of all the warnings. We had plans to do some shopping and enjoy the area but instead, we never left the house and were fine with that. The next door pizza shop was excellent so we stayed in, ordered pizza and appetizers and enjoyed being with good friends.

Wow… this sums it up

From the booking to the day we checked out the communication was wonderful and prompt. The house was well decorated and had everything we needed for a wedding weekend. We rented the whole house and access for my parents who have issues walking was easy. They walked right in with no steps. The character of this house and decor was beautiful. And not over crowded with furniture. Room to move around. The groom and friends enjoyed the hot tub. It was quiet and the beds made for an amazing sleep….and the wine. Lol. Thanks again. Highly recommend. I would give more stars if I could.

Chillaxin’ All Weekend

Bank Haus! You were such a wonderful surprise! We had such a wonderful weekend, starting with our enchanting and spacious accommodations. The area was so much fun to explore, from the various wineries to the delicious food and of course the Katy Trail. We will most definitely be back!

Very comfortable

The Banc Haus is a very cool and different VRBO. Although, we did not cook, it seemed to have a well-stocked kitchen to cook. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! Just one side note there is no bathtub. The downstairs shower is very large and worked great. The upstairs shower is smaller but also worked great.

Great family weekend!

Spacious and beautifully remodeled historic building. Perfect for our 4 family getaway. Well supplied kitchen for cooking but if cooking is not your thing the pizza place a few steps down the street is awesome and lots of nearby wineries.

Cool building

The bank is pretty cool with two safes. The house is well furnished and the fact that there are four bedrooms with kings was awesome. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay

We stayed at the Missouri Bank Haus on our recent bike ride on the Katy Trail. It's a former bank building (even still has 2 vaults) that has been renovated into a lovely home. The owners provide a very helpful guide book with lots of good local information. It's nicely decorated and has comfortable beds. Quite a restful place to sleep after a long day on the trail.

Take me out to the ball game

Less than an hour away from St. Louis, near the quaint town of Washington and the quiet countryside, the “Bank” was a great rest from the outside world. Lots of charm and old world vibe.
