House was as described. Fully furnished other than food (obviously). Plenty of room. Easy to access. Everything was great.

Outdated Pictures

The home isn’t maintained. Really sad because you can tell at one time the place was beautiful. There were many air fresheners placed throughout the home, indicating that there was an odor that was being masked. We could smell a mildew odor & noticed water damage on the living room wall & ceiling. Many pieces of furniture were broken (documented w/pics) We really liked the neighborhood, the lake was pretty. I feel the owner should be upfront about the real condition of the home. It was disappointing seeing this once beautiful house in such disrepair. Very sad

Wedding weekend at Saint Terre

I read the reviews, reached out to property manager about my concerns regarding previous issues with rental. I was assured all issued had been addressed. I wanted this property because of the close proximity to the wedding venue. The house could use a good cleaning and update to beds, linens, furniture and fixtures.

Sister Getaway

Overall the property was adequate, although it does need some TLC. You can tell that it has been a rental for some time. The back patio had some loose pavers that could be dangerous for someone elderly and the patio seat cushions were very stained. There was a pile of trash i.e. old toilet, pipes, in the back corner of the yard. Inside the upstairs bathroom the shower door was very difficult to open and close. One of us actually got stuck. Water leaked all over the floor because of a large gap in the glass door.. I would recommend some upgrades to the linens and towels. There were no matching towels in either bathroom and the kitchen towel was bleach stained. The sheets on the upstairs bed were also stained. It does appear that this is a second listing for the property. Upon further research I found a listing with poor reviews. If I had seen this earlier I would not have booked this propery.

Near lake with view of lake and access for canoe or kayak. 2 master suites and 1 converted game room (into a bedroom). Everything we needed.

Property was easy to find and in a beautiful location. Kosha was very sweet and helpful. The house was clean, well stocked, and had everything my family needed for a wonderful Christmas time experience. Will definitely book again.

Just what we needed.

My husband had some work to do in the area so the kids and I decided to come along and make a short trip out of it. It was a perfect little get away. The home was beautiful just like the pictures show. Jacuzzi tubs in both bathrooms was a nice suprise and really made it even more enjoyable. My husband and son were able to go kayaking. We grilled some dinner outside and enjoyed the beautiful back yard and later that night made some s’mores on the fire pit. The host was extremely helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed. We stay at different properties often and this was definitely a very good experience.

Disappointed with a few things

We arrived 30 minutes early and the property manager told us through text we could enter early. We had a quick response from her. I was initially happy with the home and appearance from the outside. Once inside little things started to pop up. I noticed the koi pond should have been described more accurately as a very tiny mosquito larva puddle. No big deal, but that isn't an accurate description. The grill was in poor shape. I didn't even attempt to fire it up because it had so much rust. We went out to eat instead which stinks because after 8 hours of driving, bringing food to cook, and having family meet us there was an inconvenience. Major storm hit that first night. We woke up to water seeping through the kitchen tiles between the missing grout. I threw down some towels and tried to make breakfast. Very hard to cook on a glass cooktop with pans that don't make contact. The bottoms of all the skillets were rounded and the skillets were all too small to cook bacon. This house had 15 mismatched pots and pans, none of them of good quality or big enough to cook for 6-8 people staying there. Who needs that many pans that all serve the same purpose? I was also moody from the leaks, so that added to it. I'm still trying to stay positive and make the best of it. :) I noticed the windows in the living room were leaking too. Poor quality was the theme here. EVERYWHERE. The DVD player didn't work, every remote had a low battery warning, 2 of the dining room chairs were so rickety that we had to be mindful not to let our older visitors sit in them for fear of breaking, downstairs shower head sprayed all out the sides (we all used the upstairs shower instead), no shampoo, one of the soap dispensers didn't work, hot water recovery was slow, and a bunch of other minor issues. I didn't contact the property managers about any of these issues. I'm sure they will respond with a comment to this review and say "we could have fixed it, you should have called, etc.". When there are so many little problems, what's the point? All that was going to do is waste precious time with our family and have strangers unattended in the house around my belongings. No thank you. We made the best of the weekend and enjoyed our visit with the family. Hotel or resort for us next time.

Everything wad very nice. From the pictures we were under the impression that there was a dock we would be able to access but there wasn't. That and not enough dish soap, paper towels and toilet paper were the only down falls. Owners were very very Nice! Over all it was a great time!
