完全に改造され更新されたこの家は、デッキから素晴らしいオーシャンビューを望み、白い砂浜に近い。 サーフィンを聞いてデッキからの波を見たり、ビーチを散歩して夕日を眺めたりできます。 このビーチハウスには5つのベッドルームと4つのバスルームがあり、無線インターネットを提供しています。 2階のリビングルームにある3つのソファの1つでくつろいでリラックスしながら、46インチのフラットスクリーンテレビを見たり、ステレオを聴いたりします。 2階には、フルキッチン、ダイニングルーム、2つのベッドルームがあります（一方には2セットの寝台があり、もう一方にはクイーンベッドとバスがあります）。 マスターベッドルームの3階に上がると、キングサイズのベッドと湾の素晴らしい遮るもののない眺めが楽しめます。 1階はADAにアクセス可能で、さらに2つのベッドルーム、リビング/ダイニングルーム、独自の簡易キッチンがあります。 グリルは提供されません。 ガレージアクセスなし！

Nice Place, great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The size of this condo was perfect for our group. Plenty of space to spread out. The walk to the beach is easy! The drive to beach access is also easy. Products provided to get us started were plenty for the 5 days we were there. The kitchen is well equipped. Negatives: Needs a deep clean. There were crumbs from food in cabinets as well as under beds. Furniture and baseboards need cleaning. Walls had evidence of smashed mosquitos. Dead bugs. Master bath has mold/mildew on cabinetry. Floors throughout are lifting and pinch bare feet. Master bed mattress is rock hard. None of this prevented us from having a good time.

A wonderful home! This was a family beach trip for us and the walkway to the beach was great for the moms with little children. They could bring the little ones back for their nap.The balcony in the back that overlooks the dunes was wonderful also. We spent evenings up there. This is our second time to rent this home and we will definitely be back.

Great stay at Pelican Place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great time! The house is an easy walk to the boardwalk access to the beach. Beach access road 2 is a quick dash for the hauling of beach gear (canopy, coolers and chairs) to our spot. The pool is several houses away and has no shade for sun relief. The house could use a second broom on the main level and needs kitchen towels and hot pads. Otherwise, everything was great!! House is a quick drive to Port A and only 20 minutes to HEB plus in Flour Bluff. We loved our stay!

Family Vacation

Property was great size and spacious for everyone. Short walk to the beach. Several lights and fans did not work inside on all floors. All patio lights outside on all floors did not work except for one light in driveway. Washer didn’t work. No utensils or cups downstairs.

Beautiful House-Perfect Location

We had a wonderful week staying at Pelicans Place LCV 23. The walk to the beach was not far and the views were great! There is an inside staircase to the 3rd floor master room (the house description says there is not). A grill is NOT provided even though there is one in the pictures. Luckily we had brought our own grill and griddle. According to the HOA regulations a grill can not be with 10' of the house. This was an inconvenience, since it rained the majority of the time we were there. But the house was fully stocked with everything you need to cook with!

Nice location

Pros - Great location. Beach is walking distance. Enough space for 2-3 families with kids. Maintenance available 24/7 Cons - Bottom floor smelled unpleasant. No connectivity in 1st and 2nd floor from inside the house. Water leak on first floor, though attended by maintenance caused inconvenience during the stay.

Great Time at Pelican’s Place

Unclean and locked out!

We checked in at 4:00 to discover that the first floor was locked and no key to be find. The Port Escapes company told us three different options to get in to find out in the last phone call conversation that there was a key to unlock the first floor. Called back at 5:03 and was given the after hours phone line and reported that we did not have a key. We were told by the port escapes after hours person that someone would call us back. Nobody called us back. We did not have access to the first floor which had to additional bedrooms that we paid for! Terrible management company and found the first floor dirty with dead bugs! Terrible place to stay!

The property was clean, convenient, comfortable with all the appliances, kitchen wares, & normal room needs that we might want & it was all decorated in a tasteful and artsy manner! The property was well equipped, better than we expected! It worked out very well for our whole family, And it was also fairly close to the beach, which is where we spent a great deal of time! One thing that you might want to fix is the wood flooring in the living room hallway on the 2nd floor. It's bowing and coming apart. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the beach access was a problem for us. This location only provides a walking boardwalk. note - no golf cart access. We Had canopies, coolers, toys so we had to drive to beach access 2 (2 miles) or beach access 1 (5.7 miles). Bathrooms very clean, beds clean, kitchen clean! Living area needs some attention. Overall, lovely house. But we will not stay here again due to location.

She has leukemia and many health issues that come along with age. But....she is determined to carry on with our family traditions and one is always a yearly trip to Padre Islands! We chose this property so she would not have to climb stairs and it worked out perfectly! We love the Lost Colonies area and have stayed several times in different homes on property. It is one of the best and most convenient beach front properties for all ages! This is our family time and love the privacy to just enjoy each other!!

It was very clean, easy to access, close to town but out of the way enough get away from the traffic and it had plenty of room inside and on the patio deck.

Disappointed

The reviews are very much true. The listing say remodel home but the 2nd floor is very uneven, there a spot on the floor that Dips in and feels like your going to fall through the floor. Bunkbeds are not very sturdy they wabble alot they look like there about to collapse. Sheets were not cleaned some rooms had sand in the sheets, we even found a poop stain on one of the of the beds. There was dead wasps on the windows. Some of the ceiling fans do not work. The washer is extremely loud. Bottom sliding door does not lock they have a stick on there so it wond open. Overall for the amout of money that we paid is was not worth it. They hype the price up they actually should really look into that 2nd floor that's a safety issue. Oh yes and also kids couldn't play outside on the grass due to there so many stickers in the ground they keep gettingpokedby them, I am not overreacting there was alot, even one that stay in the house step on one. The only good that came out of this home was how close it was to the beach, other then that this home needs alot if work, they actually should rent it out without fixing it 1st someone gonna get hurt. 1 star for me not going back.

Reviewer Comments: The biggest problem was the wasp nest INSIDE the house, on the living room ceiling. They came out promptly to spray the nest but we continued to deal with live wasps in the house for the remainder of the stay.Other problems:Internet didn’t work the entire timeTwo televisions didn’t work properly No blankets on the beds or in the house. The weather was very cold.The house is outdated- not the luxury property that is advertised.On the plus side, the location is great. I think the office staff was trying to help fix our problems but it was thanksgiving week, so it was difficult.
