Burt Lake Secluded Get Away

Amazing cottage, location and landscaping right on the lake. Keith is a very thoughtful host. Lake was great for swimming. Nice dock for sun bathing. All the amenities needed for a great week up north.

Enchanted Cottage

It was a wonderful week on Burt Lake. keith was very helpful and accommodating! If we didn’t live in Europe, we would definitely return. Definitely Recommend!

Gorgeous Lakefront

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view of Burt Lake. Home is well maintained and you can tell the owner has pride in his work. We rented a pontoon boat and owner went above to ensure we could easily park our boat for our stay. My only compliant is the frequency that the owner came to the house as well as “friends” of the owner who were stopping in often. He also had work on his property scheduled during our stay and we were not told that there would be workers there until late in the evening. Overall our stay was very good and I would definitely rent from Keith again.

Great cottage

Very nice place. Comfortable accomodations. All amenities needed including pots pans and coffee pot. Beautiful view and great place to swim from deck

Spectacular views and sunsets, amazing lake!

We enjoyed swimming and boating on the lake, hanging out on the many decks, exploring the canals. And nearby Petosky. An ideal location.

2022 July Vacation

Relaxing and Beautiful...two words to sum up our stay at this cottage on beautiful Burt Lake. My family and I enjoyed the views from the decks... that provide a lot of great space. And, we could even watch the fireworks at DeVoe Beach from the dock. Keith was so friendly and accommodating and great to work with. It's a vacation that we'll remember.

Perfect week in the lake cabin

We spent a perfect week in this cottage. The cottage is well situated at Indian River. Nice small town with easy access by the 75. What I liked the most about this place is that I could bring my boat and anchor it in front of the cabin. The water of the lake is super clean and there is a sand bar just in front of the cabin. The cabin was pretty well maintained and had everything we need. My family was also happy that the internet was quite fast. From there we spend one day at Mackinac Island. Mackinaw City is about 30 minutes from the place. With the boat we did some tubing with the kids, we spent some time at the beach in front of Burt Lake State Park. Also we went by boat to Mullet Lake by Indian River. Keith, the owner, is super nice. He help me with the boat, gave us very nice tips of things to do in the region and even lend me some fishing equipment since I forgot to bring mine. Hopping to come soon to this very nice place. Thank you Keith for the hospitality!

Memories

Keith is an amazing host. The cottage is a perfect home base for all the local outings. The dock is huge and the water clear with sandy bottom.

Wonderful week on Burt Lake

We spent a great week at this lake house! The views are phenomenal, the house is clean and well maintained, and Keith was a great host. He worked with us to make sure we could dock our boat and had everything we needed to enjoy the week.

Nice location

Great location! Enjoyed our time at the cottage. We did run into an issue with black ants in the kitchen and trapped two mice. House is nice just needs to have an exterminator take care of the issue.

Perfect lake experience

Beautiful view, gardens, quiet spaces, Sandy bottom beach you can walk out 100 yards waist deep, best portion of lake, can travel to other lakes via rivers....exceptional

Great cottage, super hosts, will recommend to our friends!

You will enjoy yourselves while visiting this property. Our only regret was, we were a little to early in the season for the walleye.
