フェリーハウスは、チャッツワース島の美しい村の強大なクラレンス川のほとりに新しく改装された物件です。 ボートランプのすぐ隣にあり、静かで静かですが、ヤンバ、イルカ、マクリーンまでわずか20分です。 釣り、スキー、パドリング、サーフィンなど、すべてを楽しめます。

家にはダブルベッド付きの2つのベッドルームがあり、スリープアウトにはダブルベッドの布団、ラウンジルームのソファーもダブルベッドに折りたたまれています。 冬にはウッドヒーター、夏にはさわやかなデッキとエアコンがあります。

This house is well equipped with everything you need at a holiday home and clean. View from veranda is so peaceful lots of birds and ducks. You can fish from the banks of the river so relaxing

Amazing riverside retreat!

The property was gorgeous. It was so well stocked with everything to make us comfortable. The river was beautiful, outdoor shady spaces to picnic, love the outdoor bath, great verandah space, beautifully renovated. Just perfect.

Relaxation Heaven

Beautiful relaxing place to unwind and relax. Did some wonderful fishing off the river bank and enjoyed a book on the deck. Would highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

Paradise on the River

Beautiful water views sugar cane fields and the house was perfect with amazing new balcony to chill out on with views of the river. Briony was an excellent host.

Best secret on the Clarence

This property is gorgeous. It has the best location right on the river and the sunsets are spectacular. The house is clean and comfortable, with every effort made to make the stay easy. I have to say having a bath while watching the sunset it was a new experience, but it was certainly pretty cool. Briony was a pleasure to deal with, and we will definitely be back.

The Ferry House, Chatsworth Island

Wonderful stay at the Ferry House came back home so relaxed. Beautiful sunsets, quaint cottage with lots of history and the town folk so friendly. Definitely check out the General Store/Cafe. Had a lovely bacon and egg roll and coffee. Loved to come back again.

Chillin on the river

Our second stay. We relaxed in the cosy house and on the deck but also took the short drive to the beaches. Great spot and great value at this time of year.

Nice quiet location right on the river, great location for all the family. Could just chill by the river and throw in a line or go for a short drive and enjoy the beach Well equipped cottage, very clean and beds were quite comfortable

Relax and unwind

How can you summarise watching the sun set over the trees, river sounds lapping on the shore, whilst drinking a gin laying on the deck bed. Not far from services. A very peaceful, quiet space. The property manager was lovely and very helpful. A good choice for a family having space to be together and apart when rest is needed after a long day at the beach ⛱️

Peaceful hideaway.

Lovely cottage on the north arm of the Clarence River at Chatsworth. Easy drives to the coat or back upriver. Great for a quiet holiday.

We are a father and 2 sons and their families with very strong ties to the area. We love to surf and fish and love the Clarence River.

Our family hails from Chatsworth Island, Ashby and Maclean. We watched the old Ferry House slowly deteriorate when the last tenants moved out many years ago. When it came up for sale we couldn't resist. The renovation was a loving family project with a strong nod to the history of the house and the region. We live on the Sunshine Coast and Mackay now but come back to Chatsworth whenever we can because it has a magic and serenity all its own.
