We had a great in POC. Mark was a great host with an adorable house. It felt like a home away from home in a great location. The pool was great too!

It was a beautiful, well-kept home, with an amazing pool and deck. The owners were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

Convenient

The stay was great. All the essentials were provided. We got to see the sunrise and sunset. The fenced in backyard was a huge plus for our doggies. Parking for the boat/truck and additional vehicle was also a plus. Mark, the host, was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We were maybe a half mile from Clark’s dock and close to King Fisher Beach. We will be staying here again.

The house is dated, beds are uncomfortable. The owner gave us a hard time about our son's medical service dog. "He stated everyone says their dog is service dog"

Nice little cabin!

I really enjoyed the yard, outdoor areas and fish cleaning facilities. Nice spot to park boat and truck. Worked great with my dogs as well.

Super cool last minute booking available with the owners staying just next door. They were super friendly and helpful on ensuring we were comfortable. Very adorable and relaxing place that offers a little something for everyone

Perfect Place in POC

This was our first time visiting POC, and the house was perfect. There was plenty of room for our boat, which is always a must. Mark was very accommodating and had an extension cord and water hose ready for our use and he even gave us a few pointers on where to find the fish! We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable! Great place to stay !!

Mr. Mark, Thank you for your hospitality .. we had an amazing stay and had everything we needed and some .. The home was clean and very cozy , plenty of room for our family of five ! My husband definitely enjoyed chatting with you, said he could sit and chat all day with you. Thank you for the food commendations, Bubba's and Cathy’s were both super delicious !! Weekend fishing getaway

We came for a quick weekend of fishing. The house was clean and loved that everything was labeled so there was no guessing what light switch to turn on, or cabinet to open. Only downside was that the pool looked a little green so the kids were disappointed, but mom and dad didn’t want to get in anyway.

Great place to stay

The house is nice and clean. All appliance worked. The pool looked great (although we never used it). The owner met us when arrived and gave some good suggestions. The owner is super friendly

STAY AWAY

Was dirty and unkept when we arrived the ac return in the ceiling was leaking and had mold on it. Tons of damage to the walls and ceiling. The front steps to the house are super unsafe basically falling apart. My brother in law had to fix the fridge as when we got there it was not keeping and of our food cold and by the next morning all of it was warm and nasty. I could go on and on but over all if you want a safe clean place to stay this is NOT IT!

I am 57 years old, I married my high school sweetheart and we have been on this adventure together for 37 years.I retired from the Austin Fire Department in September of 2017 with over 31 years of service.
I have two son that are both Firefighters, a daughter in-law that is a Dental hygienist and the mother of my two Beautiful grandchildren.
We love the outdoors and especially Port O'Connor. My favorite things to do is wade fish for Trout and Redfish in the bays and surf here in Port O'Connor.
I also enjoy Rod building. I love Texas, and the USA and believe that my family will have the opportunity to do the things I have been able to do growing up and getting older in the outdoors of Texas.
I look forward to meeting you, your family, and friends!
Remember, the difference between an ADVENTURE and an ORDEAL is YOUR state of mind !!!!! So, come have an adventure with us.
