We enjoyed our stay! The home was conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and the lake. It was clean, well-equipped, and had plenty of games, making it great for families with children. The property, inside and outside, could use a bit of regular maintenance and upkeep, and we would have preferred a more secure check-in process to receive the keys, but overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great location - short walk to watch the sunset on Lake Michigan, and only .6 miles to the town of South Haven. The house is just as described, and was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The host provided many amenities: games, snacks, and we appreciated having a washer & dryer available. Communication was easy, and so was check-in/check-out.

Great Hospitality

Wonderful easy stay with terrific host & amenities. A bit of a stroll to lake & town but you can’t beat this rate for a great stay.

Perfect spot for a lovely family stay

It’s hard to find an affordable stay in South Haven for a single family. When we found this home, we were delighted! The hosts were excellent and thought of every single small detail we could ever want! The house is simple and small, but it’s clean, fully stocked, and in a wonderful location. We easily biked everywhere and on the days when we had bigger beach hauls, we drove our car and found a close parking spot. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking for clean, simple, attention to detail, and affordable, look no further! We had a blast and will definitely be back next year!

Lovely home

The home was walking distance to a couple parks and to a lakeside overview. Close to the main downtown business street. Quiet neighborhood, host thought of everything you might need.

Great for kids

This stay was wonderful for a family with kids. Several strollers, toys for indoor and outdoor, etc made it feel like home. We had an issue with the A/C, and Elizabeth responded immediately to take care of it.

Great, Quaint, Comfortable House

Great little home for a family. Had all of the amenities you could need, including beach wagon, beach chairs, games, towels, etc. The location was great and a very walkable distance, maybe 10 minutes from downtown and the beach. Really enjoyed our stay and owner was very responsive!

Great rental and amenities

We have been using this rental for the last several summers. It has everything you need and is close to Kids Corner park and downtown. Elizabeth does a wonderful job making you feel welcome and right at home. We'll continue to make this rental our choice for future visits!

Our little stay in paradise

Great location. Home very clean and cool despite the warmer temps. No problem with cooling of the house. Alot of areas within walking distance. Elizabeth was a dear to rent from. The treats were a welcomed gift. Thanks so much Elizabeth, we will see you next year.

Cozy home in quiet neighborhood

Great location

The location is convenient for all activities in the South Haven area. The kids were so excited to find the toys and games for both indoor and outdoor activities. The host thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay.

We are year-round South Haven residents and we love everything that southwest Michigan has to offer! We especially love spending time at the beach in the summer. Our favorite places to visit in town are Sherman's, Kid's Corner and Taste.

We are both teachers and foster parents, so we kept our love of kids in mind when we set up the house and added in lots of beach and house toys!
