Beautiful screen porch and deck. Kitchen met our needs. We were shocked that the expectation was to drive quite a distance to take our one small bag of garbage to a town dump. Then return to the rental to return a fab that gave you entry to the garbage drop off. It was a 20 minute round trip drive!! The lock box was not user friendly on the front door. That took 10 minutes to get the box reassembled with the “one” key.

This property was fantastic. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we wanted, the beds were comfortable, and the home was fully stocked with supplies. The location was great, with only a short distance to both the Owner's Club and the Marina. Loved everything about our stay!

Reconnecting With Family

This house had everything we needed. Spacious area for everyone to gather as we had other family staying in Galena. Outdoor firepit was a plus. George was very kind and responsive to all messages.

Excellent host with a great home!

We came to Galena Territory for a family reunion. This property and owner were highly rated and did not disappoint. The house is clean and nicely decorated. The owner was kind enough to call to make certain we were alright when we were late to arrive. Truly gracious! Thank you for the opportunity!

Nice getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. A little issue with the housekeeping when we arrived but it was quickly fixed. I did appreciate the follow up call from owner next morning. Amenities were fun being so close to club house, swimming pool and marina. Close to downtown Galena yet secluded.

Nice place for a getaway

We spent 4 nights here with our 20-something young adult children. First time to Galena for us. We enjoyed it. The weather was unpredictable but the shopping and restaurants in Galena proper were worth it.

Awesome home in The Territories! The amenities were great, especially since the weather wasn’t on our side for the majority of our stay. We got to utilize the indoor pool on a stormy day. Communication was great and many memories made! Thank you for sharing your property with us. 🙂

Beautiful place in the territories!

The Powell place was just lovely! We had plenty of room, fully stocked kitchen, with a very relaxing environment. Looking forward to going back in the warmer months.

Girls trip to Galena

Centrally located to access everything in the area. Kitchen well-stocked. Outdoor spaces make this house a gem! Wild turkeys greeted us in the yard each morning. Stonedrift spa at the resort was booked for the weekend but Galena Day Spa was able to accommodate our group of 5 at the last minute. George recommended good restaurants in town as well.

Perfect for Us

Our family of five adults and three young children had a wonderful stay at George's property. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces--the screened in porch, the roomy deck, and the fire pit with chairs on the level back yard. We spent a lot of time at the Owners' Club pool, which is only a minutes away drive from the property. One suggestion--it would be nice to have a lock on the Jack-and-Jill bathroom on the main level, making it easier to know when the bathroom is being used. Thank you for a great stay, and for being so responsive with questions and booking.

Great Getaway Spot

I hosted a girl's weekend for my aunt's 70th birthday at George's property. This was the perfect spot and in a great location. Close to Galena Cellars Vineyard and the downtown area, but also secluded enough to feel like you're truly away for the weekend if that's what you're looking for. We had a great time and the house met all of our needs. The deck and screened in outdoor room were perfect for summer nights. Thank you George and family!

Family get away

The property was perfect for a get away with our adult children. There was a mix-up with the cleaning crew which George responded to immediately. We loved the screen in porch, fire pit and location. Hope to be back soon
