This is a two bedroom home located on the Straits of Mackinac, Lake Michigan. This house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but private, with only one house close next door. The deck and back yard facing the waterfront. All amenities including WiFi, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, 12 cup coffee pot, toaster, air conditioning (in season will be installed in windows) and small portable tabletop charcoal grill are available. There is a fire pit on the beach front property to the east of the house. Location is 5 miles west of the Mackinac bridge on Gros Cap Rd, with views of St Helena Island Lighthouse and from the shore, you get views of the south end of the Mackinac Bridge. The beach here is rocky, but water accessible for swimming; water shoes are recommended. Sandy dunes are located approximately 5 miles west of the house, for all day sunbathing and swimming. Located within 5 miles of Mackinac Island Ferry Boats, many restaurants and tourist shopping. Also, close to hiking trails and snowmobile trails. We have some of the most incredible sunsets.

The house is big enough to easily accommodate 4 adults.The kitchen is fully equipped. The fire pit is great and having a bonfire at the sunset on Lake Michigan was absolutely great.

We enjoyed this surprisingly spacious, comfortably appointed home with stunning lake view. Very clean house and yard (with swing set.) We had a lakeside campfire our last night using the fire ring and camp chairs provided. It was a chilly weekend but the cottage was cozy warm with heated tile bathroom floor. Cool feature! Great reclining tub that our son-in-law soaked his legs in after running a race on Mackinac Island. Easy 9-11 min. drive into St. Ignace to the ferry and church, a pizza run and firewood. Big screen TV. Very attentive hosts. Lovely, quiet lake neighborhood street. Very safe and just far enough off the main road. We loved it!

it was a very nice place plenty of room for us great view of the Mackinac Bridge surprised they didn't have a picture of that on there thing it was me and the wife two of her friends and then the grandkids plenty of room for all of us would recommend it to anyone

Beautiful views, quiet neighborhood

Spectacular views of the lake & lighthouse, coupled with a clean, cozy house on a lightly traveled road! We loved staying here and lol forward to coming back in the future.

Beautiful sunsets!!

What a beautiful place to stay! There were gorgeous sunsets to the west and a view of the bridge to the east! It’s pretty close to many places and still feels secluded. We had plenty of room to move around in and on the property and felt very comfortable there. If we go up that way again we would definitely consider this property!

Very quiet and cozy place !

The place was very clean and cozy. The view was amazing , being right on the lake . It was close to the Mackinac ferry. They paid great detail with all of the amenities. We definitely would return!

Best Time Ever ..!..

Felt like home. We really did not want to go home. Hearing the waves crash outside every night was priceless. Sunsets were incredible. We will be back but this time we will fly so we can spend more time at the property. Thank you Nicole we loved the property.

Cottage with a view

This was a beautiful little cottage on the water. If you are looking for peaceful sounds of the water lapping the shore while you drink your morning coffee this is a perfect spot. From the cottage you have views of the Mackinaw bridge and the light house on St. Helena Island.

Wonderful cottage beautiful setting!

This cottage was everything the were looking for clean comfortable. The back porch was a dream. Right on the lake amazing views. You just felt at home. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely Gorgeous

Our Host Nicole was the BEST! She went over and above at making our trip prefect, very helpful and friendly. The views from the cottage are breath taking. The cottage is clean and comfortable and equipped with everything that you need. The fireplace pit is right on the water front where you can watch the amazing sunsets. We will for sure be staying there again.

Perfect location

Great location for Mackinac Island and taking a day trip to Pictured Rocks. The house had everything and was so nice.
