Ellijay cabin

Very secluded, great space, both indoor and out. The cabin has a beautiful screened in porch, large kitchen, a fire pit and a back patio with ample seating. The neighborhood has a recreation area with a pool, tennis courts and pickle ball courts. The neighborhood is beautiful and very large with VERY windy roads.

Beautiful home and location!

My husband and I rented this cabin for our anniversary trip and it did not disappoint. We loved the location. It felt so secluded and private although there were homes across the river. I loved the island in the kitchen! There was so much space! We loved the screened in porch! Everything was decorated very nicely. We had all of the amenities that we needed for our stay. We loved the fire pit and was out there most of our time. We saw several deer, a redheaded woodpecker and a very pretty Kingfisher flying around. We will definitely return to this home.

It was a great spot to hole up with hubby and college kiddos before they went back to school. The A/C wasn't super cold but it was a GREAT few days!!! We will go back in the cooler months!

It was a wonderful location with screen porch and right on the river. Great places to walk the dogs and fun to watch wildlife.

Great Property All Around

The location is as good as it gets for a riverfront property. The entire property is flat and very private. It's only five steps to the river. It was very clean when we arrived and the kitchen is well stocked. The property itself has a lot to see and enjoy. There are small waterfalls created by stacked stone on one side of the drive. Natural stone is used to accent the property all around this great cabin. Of course you can't stay here and not mention the expansive porch overlooking the river. If there is a better cabin/home on the river in Coosawattee I would love to see it. We will be back.

Wonderful!

We loved staying at River of Dreams. The cabin location is very private and the property is beautiful. We especially loved the screened porch where we relaxed and watched the rushing river. We had everything we needed for a peaceful vacation. Tina was very helpful when I had questions during our booking. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING

So wonderful to get away with our family and enjoy the sounds of the river right in our backyard! Loved how secluded we felt at this house. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we absolutely loved our stay!

Wonderful getaway by the river!

We totally enjoyed our weekend at the cabin! It was exactly what my family and friends needed. The kids were able to fish and I could relax and read a book and listen to the water. It doesn't get any better! That evening we roasted marshmallows and had a great time! Thank you!

Simply beautiful

Cabin was beautiful and cozy and the river view and wildlife was magical. That porch...wow! Cabin's driveway was a bit tricky to find but arriving in day time helped. We had a wonderful family time.

Great view, poor cleanliness

We loved the view and playing along the river, but the place was very dirty with dust on everything. We left early because it severely aggravated our boys asthma. The view was stunning and we saw several deer everyday. The kitchen was well stocked. We will not stay again.

We had a great time celebrating my moms birthday at River of Dreams. Beautiful property. Driving in and out of the driveway is a little challenging.

Peaceful setting, excellent communication

The cabin is secondary to the location and view of the Coosawatee River from the screened-in porch that's about 45' long by about 10' wide and well furnished. Watch the river rush by as deer cross the shallows and geese swim just upstream. The home itself is very comfortable with cabin-style furniture that bids you to relax. The kitchen's main feature is a 9' long butcher-block island with 7-8 chairs that allow visiting while cooking. The LR is large and welcoming with a wood burning fireplace which we didnt use because there was a small sign (laying on top of the fridge) indicating it wasn't operational. The master bedroom is large with a comfortable king sized bed and a large closet. The bathroom is small with one sink, a tub (which we didn't use) and a tiny shower (which frankly could be extended by taking space from a 2nd closet). We only looked upstairs and saw two additional bedrooms (one of which has a queen bed and two small bunk beds embedded in the wall) and a bath. The fire pit was awesome. The only criticism is that the home needs some much needed maintenance and a deep clean, but we communicated that to the cabin Manager who was very open to hearing about our suggestions which we make only to improve the home for future use (ours and other guests).

Absolutely wonderful

We loved our week at river of dreams. The entire family had a great time and this property is perfect for tubing down the river and trying to catch fish. We did not venture out very often as the winding roads are a bit intense but we had all we needed! The deer watching was probably everyone’s favorite part and seeing all the babies was a neat sight. We will defiantly be booking again in the future.
