Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rain didn’t cooperate but we still got to enjoy the beach everyday rain or shine. The house was very dog friendly but WITHOUT the smell or dog hair that you would expect. Our only real complaint would be that the decks are in need of major maintenance which we did report to the management company. Great vacation overall.

It is a great house and YES, 14 people can fit pretty nicely. The new pullout sofa in the game room is also a possibility for the lone teenager who doesn't want to sleep with the littles in the bunkroom ;-) So glad you enjoyed your week and hope to see you again!

The Screamin Mimi house is larger than it looks in that opening picture. With six bedrooms and two living rooms, the house is VERY comfortable for a large family. We also like that all of the kings/queens are masters with private baths. Thanks for staying and please come again soon!

Great Vacation!

We loved our stay at Screamin Mimi’s! Location was perfect and just a short walk to the beach. Our family loved that we were able to drive on the sand. Best part of the trip! Kitchen was great for the 11 of us. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful time

Everything was lovely. The little extras in this place, like laundry baskets in the rooms, were really nice. Kitchen was much better equipped than others we have stayed at in the past. Would definitely stay here again.

Great rental!

This was the perfect house for enjoying the beach and relaxing with our family. We loved the location, peacefulness and the property was well equipped. The kids had a blast in the pool! Awesome deck to look at the ocean and the horses. We loved our time at this great house!

Perfect Family Vacation House

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of space for the little ones to play, plenty of games the entire family family enjoyed, and a great basement area where the kids could hangout. Walking distance to the beach and saw 5+ horses around the house nearly everyday. Would highly recommend this house!

We had a wonderful time on carova. Beautiful sunrises, ocean, sand, horses. After days spent at the beach it was perfect to come back to the house, pool and hot tub to relax for the evening. Everyone had an unforgettable time.

family beach vacation

1st time i rent a whole house 2 grand parents 4 sibling with partners 5 grandchildren the house was perfect kitchen very well equipped nice pool and hot tub every body had great time there i own 10 horses we were in wild horses every day in the yard beach etc new experience 2 large black snakes on deck(interesting) we did not kill them best beach vacation with whole family ps only 1 thing to complain there was the cheapest toaster 2 slices only not good in am to provide toast for the bunch lol

Loved Every Minute of Our OBX Vacation

This property is amazing. The homeowners have thought of everything. My only complaint was having to leave after our week was up! I HIGHLY suggest reaching out to Laura at Corova Cottages before you book so she can tell you about this amazing property. She was amazing with our group!

Amazing family vacation

After almost three years of being apart, my family from all over met here to spend the week together and we had the best vacation. The Screamin’ Mimi was perfect for so many reasons - the first one being the quiet, peaceful location. Second, the pool and hot tub were awesome. Third, the house feels like a real home, not just a rental. There’s a great book walking you through the building of it and it was great to read. Finally, the grandkids call my mom Meme so it was the icing on the cake. Before we left, we were sure to book our return trip next year!

Perfect home in paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing week here, the house is beautiful with tasteful and elegant decor. It has everything you could need, well stocked kitchen, two dishwashers great for large groups, the pool and hot tub are clean and have lots of seating, nice beach chairs available, and is the first house in Carova I have visited where the water didn’t smell like sulfur thanks to the filtration system at the house. Thanks for making our stay amazing!

So glad your stay was amazing!! The new owners of Bikinis and Bellinis have really worked hard to include everything someone might want! They have a knack for making you feel at home! Additions continue as after you departed, they put in lighting around the pool and an arcade game in the level one game room. Improvements galore are the order of business. This winter a new kitchen is being installed. I hope you guys will come again to experience the improvements!!

LOVE the house and management company!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fabulous time again this year. The things we appreciate most are the house itself, how clean it is when we arrive, how close it is to the beach, Laura’s responsiveness and all the nice updates!!My mom (87 years) came this year and drinks espresso several times a day. We reached out to Laura when her Bialetti espresso maker wouldn’t work on the induction stove top and she saved the week by dropping off a nespresso maker WITH pods within a few hours. I can’t imagine ANY other management company being so responsive! We really appreciate you!!The house itself is fabulous, up to date, kitchen has everything you could need, pack n plays, great beach games, we could go on and on. Thank you and we look forward to returning!!
