What a wonderful property in an ideal location. The house was spotless and well maintained, Has an open and bright floor plan; no lights needed once the sun is up. Plenty of wildlife wandering through the neighborhood. Short walk to the beach for amazing sunsets. Short drive to Old Town Bandon and a great place to stay for a trip to Bandon Dunes. I would love to bring the whole family back and do some exploring.

PERFECT coastal getaway. Worth every minute of the 6hr drive. Property was absolutely beautiful and literally 100 steps to the beach. 5 minutes to Old Town Bandon for shops, sights, and dining with locally sourced seafood.Rick was an exceptional host, offering recommendations, great communication, and just a genuinely friendly guy who wants to ensure a great stay. The property, house, town and beach are as pet friendly as you could ask for, and the beach never had more than 10 people for a mile in either direction.Felt like we hit the lottery with this one. Will 100% stay here again.

The house was very roomy and comfortable, nicely decorated, and had a well-stocked kitchen. We brought our dog and were happy to see there was a fenced-in back area for him to be outside (mostly tiled patio and rock-filled area with shrubs along the fence, protected from the wind).

We had such an amazing stay! Two girlfriends and I recently stayed at this beautiful, spacious home, and everything was absolutely wonderful. The Pelicans Nest was over 3,000 square feet, beautifully set up, and had everything we could possibly need. Not to mention the beautiful sunset from the upstairs balcony . It truly felt like a home away from home. We were able to take our little four legged babies with us, in which they loved to run around the fenced in backyard. They even supplied water and food bowl for them, plus little blankets. It was amazing for them too. The beach was literally just a five-minute drive away, which was such a wonderful bonus! If you’re planning a visit in September, the beach was practically empty when we were there. And if you have four-legged friends with you, they can enjoy plenty of freedom to run and play off-leash. The host Rick was awesome! Communication was easy and breezy, Rick responded quickly to every email and question we had. He explained everything clearly, and check-in was so easy and convenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for a girls’ getaway. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Christy Please come back and visit again. The five minute walk to the beach in front of our house is easy and like you said the beach is empty. Even during the busiest time of the year very few people by our home and your dogs love it!

We have been coming to Bandon since 2000 with our children and have enjoyed every second. In July 2015 we became the proud owners of the Pelican's Nest, a home we have enjoyed in the past. We look forward to sharing our home with our guest and hope they find Bandon as beautiful and relaxing as we do.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Some of the many things we really enjoy about our home are the views from the living room where we can sit or lie on the couch, watch the water and/or read a book. I always seem to fall asleep though listening to the waves and enjoying the sun and light through the skylights. When the weather permits sitting out on the deck is delightful and there are times during the whale migrations that we sit with binoculars and watch the whales pass by. Also, the sunsets are magnificent. Our dining area, kitchen and TV room all open up through a large glass slider to our fenced, private, wind protected backyard where we enjoy nice BBQ's on our Gas grill. The beach access is just two doors down from our home and we love to take dogs and walk for miles. During minus tides the tide pools are unbelievably full of sea life. Bring your camera!! Vina and I also enjoy the many whitewater views from our home through the many large picture windows. The openess of our home allows great spaces for entertaining large groups.
