We had a great time in Hermann and The Shed was wonderful! It is very cute and spotless! Walking distance to the Main Street and about 10-15 minute walk to the Trolley station. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Great stay at The Shed

Everything was exactly as described. It was clean and in a nice part of town. Easy walking distance to shops and bars/restaurants. Great place to stay for a weekend getaway!

Holiday Get Away

This was the first time my wife & I were off together for the holidays and were looking to stay close to home. The Shed provided the perfect home base for us to enjoy everything Hermann has to offer. It looked exactly as represented online - so cute & cozy. Very quiet neighborhood, close to everything within walking distance, perfect for a couple's getaway!

Excellent Host

Not only is this property utterly charming, the host was most helpful in making our stay memorable. She gave the best dinner recommendation and made sure the Shed had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. Love this town!

Anniversary weekend

Great property in a fantastic location and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had everything we needed for our stay which was already provided by the host, Becky. She was very attentive and helpful with any questions and recommendation requests. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely Perfect!

The shed has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. We love to cook all of our own meals and the kitchen allows us to do that. The shed is so cozy. The bed is heavenly and we both sleep great here, which is unusual when we travel. The mini lights strung from the ceiling are beautiful and add to the ambiance of the layout. We have been several times and it is the first place we check when we are headed to Hermann. Would highly recommend!

Artsy Bungalow Perfect for Anniversary Trip!

Becky has truly thought of everything in this beautiful bohemian cottage. My husband and I were celebrating our 21st Anniversary and lucky for us the guests before us cancelled last minute and had purchased the food package. Becky left everything for us and we enjoyed a charcuterie tray, mimosas, truffles, mini frittatas, yogurt parfaits, and fruit! It was all delicious! Becky was easy to communicate with and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. The digital guidebook was fantastic! The cottage was spotless and so beautifully decorated and had every amenity you could possibly think of. The bed was sooooo comfortable and we slept so well after long days of walking, riding our bikes, and eating and drinking our way through all of the local wineries, breweries, distilleries, and cafes. Do not miss Stompin’ Grounds for the best coffee and breakfast in town. Nathan the barista there will take great care of you and might even sing you the happy anniversary song. Also not to miss is the Copper Mule distillery. Yvette the bartender there was just wonderful and the bar was such a beautiful spot to hang out in. Despite the rare June heat wave we really enjoyed our time in Hermann. The AC unit in The Shanty was nice and cool and we spent a lot of time just cooling off and resting there. Thanks for the hospitality Becky! Wish I would have remembered to sign the guestbook!
