Great cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s in a great location. We really enjoyed the outdoor wood burning fireplace attached to the house. The hottub was really nice too.

Great location, beautiful cabin!

Very private, very very clean and comfortable, and such a great location. We managed with plenty of space in the master to have our kids sleep on cots. We had a fabulous time in Broken Bow and will stay again! Thanks for the lovely accommodations!

Fabulous cabin in the woods!!

This cabin is just beautiful. Every thing is just as described in the details. Very close to beaver bend and some yummy restraunts...we will stay again.

Wonderful Stay, Excellent Cabin

We visited for our anniversary, the cabin was very clean and well appointed. The location was great and Donna was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. This was our second time to visit Broken Bow, we plan to visit once a year and would definitely recommend the Sheer Pleasure cabin. Great time, excellent trip, no complaints, it met and/or exceeded all of our expectations. Thank You for a great stay!

Great Cabin

Cabin was prepared well for our arrival. One bedroom cabin was spacious and well laid out. Hot tub/spa was extremely relaxing. Location afforded good privacy and we walked one night to the restaurant/bar/grill down the end of the road (5min). Can't go wrong...Highly recommend Sheer Pleasure Cabin!

Beautiful Cabin, Relaxing Weekend!

Shear Pleasure not only met but exceeded our every expectation! The cabin is very clean and well kept and stocked with everything you need for a quick getaway. We love that it was tucked away by itself and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. We loved it!!!

Great Place, Great Location

Our stay couldn't have been better. Communication was great, cabin was super clean and had a luxury feel. Felt like we were out in the woods but we were 2 minutes from the highway. Great getaway spot. Only a few minutes from the lake and about 20 minutes from kayaking on the river. There are a few other cabins near but they're spaced just perfectly so you have your privacy. Would definitely come back. Thanks for the great visit.

Beautiful cozy cabin!

My husband and I stayed here a couple of days in December to celebrate his birthday. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and I didn't really want to leave it! The cabin was even decorated nicely with a Christmas tree for the holidays and a couple of holiday movies were left for us to watch. The cabin is in a great location. We really enjoyed using the outdoor fire pit. We would definitely recommend the Shear Pleasure cabin.

Great Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing. Recovering with a broken ankle, spent a lot of time on porch in front of fire. Patio lacked outdoor tv and comfortable seating. I would recommend if these are not important, but would book different if important. Photo’s are exactly what it is. Unusually loud dishwasher.

40th Birthday Trip

Sheer Pleasure was definitely that!!! Two thumbs up!!! There were a couple maintenance issue: the keypad did not lock and the sink was backed up, but that had little impact on my trip. We planned to stay there the entire weekend, so the door was now problem. It did lock from the inside. We really enjoyed the hot tub. We didn’t not get to light an outside fire but enjoyed the one on the inside. Would definitely book again if it just us two!! Thanks!!!!

Good Cabin, Great Location

We loved the location of this cabin and how it still felt very cozy and private although it is just off of the main road and surrounded by other cabins. The hot tub was amazing and we loved the extra privacy provided by the wooden wall and curtains. The cabin is kept up very well! Our biggest complaint is that the cabin was not cleaned very well (specifically the bedroom). The bedroom ceiling fan blades (which is right above the bed) were covered in a thick layer of dust. It is clear the blades have not been cleaned in a while. Most of the bedroom decor had a layer of dust on it and underneath the bed we found a lot of dust/hair/dirt that has definitely been collecting for a while. Other than the cleanliness, the cabin was good!

Amazing cabin in an idyllic setting

Pristine cabin nestled in tall pines. We enjoyed walking through the soft, pine covered forest right outside the front door. Some kind souls left a little firewood in the fire pit for us, which was a welcome surprise. We did not arrive until late afternoon, though we anticipated coming earlier. Despite our trip being cut short, the cabin made it more than worth the 3.5 hour drive. We walked to the brewery at night under a sky dotted with stars (a short four minute walk). The food and beer were delicious. After the brewery we returned to the oasis of the cabin for a soak in the tub. Despite being minutes from the brewery and other cute, quaint food places, we felt as if we were hundreds of miles from civilization at the beautiful cabin. The next morning we drove five minutes or so to Broken Bow Lake and enjoyed the serene water and quartz-covered shores. Can not recommend enough. Thank you!

Awesome cabin, but disappointed in host

I debated a few days before posting to think about this. When we arrived, the door was standing wide open. An email to the manager got a response of "Thanks for letting us know". We did not see some supplies that were listed as being provided. Paper towels and laundry pods in particular. Water heater went out. An email met with the same response. "Thanks for letting us know so we can check it out". Nothing about the inconvenience to us. We stay in rentals a few times a year. The lack of concern here was the first bad experience we have had.

Great potential. We enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location. It was nice being at the end of the lane (no cars passing by). Cabins near by, but not too near. The wrap-around porch was perfectly situated for enjoying afternoon/evening activities. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The house has great potential - and by that, we mean that there are some things that could be improved. Such as, the bed. Every movement was greeted with a creek. The mattress was almost too firm. The shower seems to be an accident waiting to happen with the large radius corners and slick floor. The kitchen knife set was extremely dull. The gas grill needs an overhaul soon. We agree with previous reviews about the sound of the television. It can be hard to hear. The hot tub cycling on can be heard in the bedroom during the night. The front door striker needs to be adjusted. This sounds like we didn't like the cabin. We really did. Just noticed that some things need attention. So, it was almost a 'luxury' honeymoon cabin. We had a great time!

Could have been perfect, but. . .

Great cabin. Very well-maintained. The property managers were so helpful and professional through our stay. However, we will not choose to stay in Shear Pleasure again because of the bed and the sofa. The king-size bed was not nearly firm enough for us. In fact, my husband and I will generally sleep closer to the sides just for comfort, but this too-soft mattress had us tumbling downhill on both sides to the middle. Also, the extra-thick mattress cover was noisy whenever we moved, and the sheets and bedspread were not wide enough for the bed because of the very deep mattress and thick covering. The flat sheet extended only 2-3" onto the sides of the mattress. The property manager, Donna, sent a new set of sheets over immediately when I told her the problem, but the housecleaner assured us they were the same sheets already on the bed. The sofa was the other BIG problem. My husband and I love to sit together to watch TV, so we were quite sad when we discovered the middle cushion had no "cushion" to it. We tried to make it work, but could never find comfort - only joint pain - after sitting on the middle cushion for a few minutes. So, for SIX evenings, he sat on one end and I on the other. Bummer! I would love to stay at this cabin again, but will not unless those two issues are addressed. The televisions were an issue also. Donna agreed that the instructions for use of the Samsung Smart TV and the Direct TV set were quite confusing. We had to have someone come out to help us figure everything out. Direct TV never did work while we were there for an entire week. We loved everything else, including the very comfortable and cushiony rocker-recliner and the hot tub.

Great get-away weekend.

Home was in a wonderful location. Home was spotless. Enjoyed what Hochatown and broken bow had to offer. Lots of chill time just relaxing and enjoying our getaway.
