A great place to stay and play

Just returned from a great stay at Aquilea. Correspondence with Martin the owner and Maureen the property manager was very good. Our housekeeper Joy was very nice and did a great job. Delicia our cook treated us very well with some delicious meals. All requests were met with a smile. Very close to both Holetown and Speithstown. Been to Barbados many times and continue to be impressed by the people and sights.

Amazing

The house is terrific. The layout with its 5 en-suite bedrooms was perfect for our group. There was also an additional powder room which was great for guests. The kitchen was big and modern. We had a chef for most of our stay which worked out nicely. The living room also had crisp, clean furnishing as did all of the bedrooms. The view from every room was spectacular. The pool was an inviting place to cool down and relax. The outdoor furniture was clean and comfortable. The location of the home was convenient to shops and a great grocery store for all of our needs. We would go back in a heartbeat! Martin, the owner, was very accommodation. We loved Barbados and our stay at Aquilae!

Stayed at Aquilae February 2019 & it was everything that the pictures and description indicate...and more! The location is great - with spectacular evening sunset views over the pool to the west coast beaches. Very comfortable accommodations - very nice bathrooms. We requested and got a well stocked kitchen for our arrival. The housekeeper and property manager were both most attentive and ready to help in any way. The owner was also very helpful with recommendations for restaurant & island activities. We highly recommend!

Stunning contemporary villa with infinity pool perfect for families or couples. Rates include a housekeeper for 6 days per week and a laundress 2 days per week. A Private chef or cook is available at extra charge upon request. A grocery pack on arrival can be arranged though our Villa Manager.

The house has only recently been available for holiday rentals. The new owners have decided to strip the house back to a minimalist design and started upgrades in 2020. so far a new kitchen with a back service kitchen have been installed along with a bar area in the Great room and a huge stone dining area outside on the covered deck.

The gardens have recently been replanted and the Driveway reconfigured.
The Barbados Revenue Authority charges a 10% SEL and also requires that a Room Rate Levy of 2.5 %, up to a max of $10 USD per used bedroom, per night, must be charged in additional to the rental fee.
