Delightful!

Had a wonderful and relaxing time! The property is well equiped (stove top takes a bit of time though) and the couch is a wonderful place to read a book! The bed is comfy, and sitting out the front having coffee is a delight!

Short and sweet.

The stay was pleasant it could do with a heater or electric blanket in the bedroom.

The property was advertised as private. It was not private or quiet at all. The family went on with their lives as if we weren't there. Lawn mowers, children with bikes, property maintenance etc. very disappointing.

Hi there Gypsy, Yes, there were children on bikes (leaving the property, and arriving home in the afternoon). Yes, we conducted property maintenance for the benefit of guests, as you may find at a 5 star resort. I was told - by your friend - that mowing of the lawn, at 2pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon was a disturbance, and I stopped the noise immediately. Your apartment is certainly private - no one other than you had access or came near. It was quiet - during morning and evening hours, overnight and as soon as any disturbance was communicated. I’m not sure what you expected that you didn’t receive; if you had communicated any problem during your stay - like the early afternoon lawn mowing which ceased as soon as I was made aware - it would have been dealt with immediately. Northfield in Woodend. Very relaxing

We stayed for two nights, as we were in the area for a family celebration. Jen the host at Northfield was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Jen who lives on the property in her own residence, greeted us by chance, but it is a self check in, and she told us if we needed any assistance to just ring her. The accomodation and amenities are top class, the king bed very comfortable, and had a good feel about it. It is walkable to the Woodend shops, but due to extreme heat conditions we chose to drive, which was only a five minute drive. Woodend has plenty of places to eat, if you don’t want to cook at the apartment. There is a supermarket if you need to pick up supplies. The apartment is self contained, and very private. We would certainly return if we are back visiting Woodend.
