This is a beautiful one-bedroom, two-bath condo with spectacular ocean and island views, and we’re so happy you appreciated the spacious lanai and central AC. The resort is oceanfront, which means you can walk straight out to the sandy shores of world-famous Kaanapali Beach. Plus, you’re just a short stroll away from the Whalers Village shopping center, where you can enjoy great dining, shopping, and entertainment. This location in Kaanapali has got to be one of the best, if not thee best, sites to stay at on island, for many of the reasons you mentioned, there's so much to do in the nearby area - no need to drive all over island to get somewhere interesting and fun. Dear Christine, as you may recall we left you several messages none of which you chose to return. We reached out prior to your stay, during your stay and immediately after receiving your email indicating an issue with the hand held shower and finding residue on some of the dishes in the cupboard. There was no mention of flickering lights. You clearly stated in your email that you did not wish to be disturbed negating our efforts to correct the issues. On a act of good faith we processed, as you know a substantial refund to your credit card. The owner of this unit continues to make improvements annually and does indeed have plans to remodel their bathrooms. In the meantime, we quickly resolved the flickering light in the master bathroom by replacing the bulb and the shower handle is once again working properly after a quick and minor adjustment. The dishwasher is less than 5 years old and until now we’ve had no reports of residue left on the dishware. It’s quite possible it was a previous well-intentioned guest’s efforts with hand washing. In the future, more often than not we can quickly remedy oversights providing we’re given the opportunity.

It's a fun sight to watch them feed near the shores at dusk, but they are definitely not for handling. We appreciate you being our guest, and hope you will consider returning again soon. Mahalo!
