The views are stunning but that is where it ends. The house is dirty run down mouldy blinds overgrown garden. Has so much potential but property really needs some maintenance. There is no boat parking on property! we couldn’t get our boat down driveway so had to leave up on street not ideal.

Fabulous holiday home on the beach

My husband and I have stayed at "Wanda Magic" twice a year for several years. We have just returned from another two week stay there. What a wonderful holiday home and now made even better by the new owner with new furniture and in particular a new king size bed in the main bedroom in the house. Whilst the bed and pillows seemed very hard when we first used the bed we were converted after the first night and for the next two weeks had the best sleep we have had in ages. No neck or back ache. We have an expensive chiropractic bed at home and this bed was better. In fact we were so impressed with the pillows I purchased them for our own home! The conversion of the garage into a king size bedroom and bathroom is also a great move so the house now lends itself to couples as well. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need in a holiday home. The location is fabulous with only a one minute walk to Wanda Beach and about a 10 minute walk around the headland to another beach. The village shops are only a few minutes walk away. For those that want to venture further there is the Salamander Bay shopping mall which is about a 10 minute drive from the house. The house has great water views exactly as you see in the photos and the birdsong is amazing. We can think of no other place we would rather stay twice a year to give us a relaxing break from our jobs. Every time we open the door to the house for us it is like coming home - we feel so comfortable there. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a holiday at this property now.

Cleaning standard needs improvement.

Enjoyed our stay, great spot but disappointed that we had to spend the first 2 hours cleaning off cobwebs, glasses, windows, fans and dusting tables, etc.

It is a beautiful waterfront property with complete privacy. We love the place. However, if I were told upfront that there is no wifi, I would organise my own.

Stunning views for a blissful stay

We had a great stay. The house itself was clean and tidy and perfectly positioned. The view was to DIE for!! One thing that was a pleasant surprise was that there is a twin bedroom and master bedroom in the main house, and a separate large bedroom and ensuite accessible from the courtyard. The views from both are beautiful, and the extra privacy and space is ideal. It is just minutes drive from a major shopping centre, and a couple of minutes walk to a small well equipped shops with an IGA, chemist, etc. We will definitely be back!

Great location and view.

Located just up off the beach. Behind the Salamander bay shops. Close to coffee, bakery, take out and a little supermarket. Good sized home, lots of space and light. A converted space out the back contains a king bed/ 2 x twin bed configuration and a separate bathroom. This room is on the walking track to the beach so I was awoken each morning at 6am by walkers talking. Main house has a new larger tv than the pictures but doesn’t have a DVD player connected to it. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, plates, etc. large fridge. Reverse cycle air conditioning in both the main house and converted room out back. No undercover outdoor space. Overall a great house

Amazing! Beautiful views! Peaceful and relaxing

Booked this place for a small get away and was so upset leaving. Been on many holidays and booked many houses but this by far was the best one The house felt very private,spacious,cosy and really well presented and clean The beach was a 1 minute walk and the view was breath taking it was so peaceful and relaxing its the perfect getaway home with all necessities (only missing a dryer) Defiantly Highly recommend!! I know I will be booking this again for my next getaway.

Perfect except for beds!!!!

This house is a great holiday house. Close to water and shops. This house has been given an uplift since my parents last stayed a year ago. The only down side for us was that both King beds are rock hard. They are a firm mattress with a thick topper on top. So uncomfortable and painful!! Its a shame the outside area isn't covered as it rained most of our stay and therefore had to sit inside even though the temp outside was still nice. If you can get past the uncomfortable beds this is a great little retreat/holiday house!!

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you felt the beds were to firm, these beds are all brand new. It can be hard to suit everyone's comfort levels as some people prefer firm some people prefer soft, it is something where the owners would just buy what they felt was comfortable for them. Hopefully next time you stay they may have softened a little. We are glad to hear that you still enjoyed this property and its wonderful location and we hope to see you again in the future!

Great Views

We rented the house for one week and it instantly felt like home with amazing views to wake up to every morning. It has a great outdoor area to relax, cosy indoor setting and is close to both the shops and beach. The property was a comfortable and tidy place to stay. The only thing missing to make life easier is a dish washer. Highly recommended.

The photos in the ad looked good, location seemed great as well. Even when we got there it seemed ok. Not the cleanest, but ok. Until we locked up and went out to dinner. When we came back the place we filled with thousands and thousands of flying ants or transmigrating termite. WOW after the initial shock was over we started to look for where these things were coming from. There was holes in the floor boards as big as 10 x 3cm strips. It was 9:30pm and the real estate agent we were renting through weren't answering. We plugged up as many holes as we could find and waited for the morning. The agent didn't seem too concerned, which I think means that we weren't the first to raise this with them. After a little pleading they managed to get a handy man out by 11am to plug the holes with silicone. The next five nights we were there were spent battling cockroaches. So if you are thinking of staying here, please make sure that the holes have been fixed permanently and they have done a recent pest spray.
