The unit is a little outdated. Pillows are way too hard and high. No interior door to connect the first floor to the second floor. Fireplace only worked on day one and the rest of the time it left a cold breeze in the room.

The views and location are great. New Year’s Eve fireworks are a great perk. Everything works, but regulating heat in the bedrooms is difficult in the lower unit.

Brule ski trip

Snow was great, location was perfect for fast, easy access to Brule and the house was great to accommodate 3 families! We will stay here again.

Great place for our 8th annual ski vacay. So nice to have the top & bottom as space was big enough to all be together but each had their own rooms. Sauna was hard to regulate but hot tub was a plus. We may actually rent this one again!

Great Views of Ski Brule

The place was spacious and clean. There was one minor issue with the heating that the host quickly worked to address. Overall, my family had an enjoyable stay.

Holiday Ski Trip

The chalet is in a great location. Overall ok. Needs some TLC. Need a better cleaning service, every cup I pulled to use was dirty. Ran all cups and silverware through the dishwasher before using. Was great to come back from the ski hill and soak in the hot tub but cover needs replacing, very water logged and requires multiple people to open and close.

Large House in the Village

We always look forward to our stay at Timberline. Lots of room for friends and family, and the BEST hot tub in the village. Great communication with hosts. We'll be back!

Family ski weekend

The roominess with all the beds and bedrooms worked great for 8 kids under 7 with 6 adults. The location nest to Ski Brule was very convenient and the end-of-day hot tub soak was perfect. We'll have to try the saunas next year!

Nordic Haus New Year’s Fun

The large house is perfect for our group of 2 families. The owners are super and responsive! We’ve stayed at their properties for many years now. Great location to the ski hill and you can see the fireworks on New Year’s Eve from the hottub.

Great place for big groups!

We loved this cozy cabin so close to the ski hill! Just wish we had most comfy couches and space to lounge in the living rooms! but other than that, we loved all of it! highly recommended

Celebration of Life

It was a great place to spend time with my family for a “celebration of life” weekend. Plenty of space and beds for 6 adults and 6 preteen/teenaged kids. We enjoyed cooking for each other, playing board games around the table, relaxing in the hot tub, and making s’mores over the fire pit while stargazing. Iron River was a quick drive to grab essentials, experience pasties at The Pasty Corner, and devour the most delicious pizza at Riverside Pizzeria. It was also an easy drive to the Pine River Oxbow for a family tubing adventure. We really enjoyed our stay and have left with great memories. Thank you so much!!

Lovely Place!

Our party or 9 had a great time at Timberline. It's super clean and well-equipped. The hosts communication was great! It could definitely use some updates but everything functions just fine. We hope to book again!

We have a large family and often host friends. This combined unit sleeps up to 16 people and has 2 kitchens, 2 HDTVs, 2 saunas and 1 large hot tub. So there's plenty of space for everyone to hang out together and to do their own thing as well.

The chalet has scenic views of the woods and Ski Brule.

This is an upstairs/downstairs duplex WITH NO INTERNAL connection. You have to go outside to go from the 2-story upper unit to the 1-story lower unit.
