Great location , very clean cottage

Berry is a fabulous town , great restaurants, pubs and cool shops. This cottage is in the perfect locations to experience Berry.

Berry weekend

Gorgeous house in perfect location. So close to shops and cafes but lovely and quiet. Photos dont do it justice. We had an awesome time and everyone loved it.

Great location

Lovely and clean. We had a delightful stay over the long weekend. A thoughtful host too ~ we appreciated the extra toiletries and kitchen essentials. We will be back.

90th celebrations

Wonderful stay at the cottage celebrating a dear friends 90th birthday.Accomodation was comfortable and clean .Nicely appointed with a great location.Only slight would be tea and coffee supplied but no milk .

80th birthday celebration

The cottage had been recommended by a friend who had stayed there and did not disappoint. There is only one thing I would suggest as an addition and that is a railing on the stairs down to the barbecue area. My husband uses a walking stick and it was difficult for him. We loved it was so close to the Main Street and our four and six year old loved the spa bath and the great places to do hide and seek.

Fantastic Girls Weekend!

We looked at several properties in the area but found The Cottage met all our requirements for a lovely long weekend with friends. Walking distance to Berry and the restaurants however we were just as happy to sit around the fire, play games, drink wine and eat food. Plenty of space and the rooms were great including the facilities such as the bathrooms, outdoor garden etc. Will be returning for sure. Thank you.

Nice getaway

Overall no complaints. 4th bedroom should be advertised as 2 beds for young children. We had two adults in there and there was no room for their bags. Also, we were not left with enough toilet paper which was a nuisance. But overall, a lovely home.

Overdue for a renovation

While the location of this property was fantastic, I feel for the price we should have had a more modern kitchen , as it was last renovated almost 20 years ago, it was now well overdue. The lounge furniture was also tired and dated. As it was raining we were inside and required more fire wood for the 2 fires however was told by the owner that we could only have kindling not logs as we had used our quota. Again given how much we were spending on the 3 days this was unexpected and dissappionting.

Amazing property in awesome location

The property was beautiful, in a great location right in town. It had everything we needed with plenty of room for a large family or group of friends Check in was super easy although parking in Berry on Friday afternoon can be busy but hey there is a reason Berry is so popular....highly recommend this property

Fabulous

Life is always better with friends and The Cottage is the perfect place to go and enjoy them. Gorgeous little house in one of the back streets of the main town of Berry. Quiet but close enough to walk everywhere. The house itself might be on the small-side but has EVERYTHING you need for a fabulous stay. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, 2 living areas, doors leading out to a wraparound balcony and expansive yard. Outside is a lovely gazebo area where we ate lunch every day, surrounded by stunning gardens and wildlife. The property is in town so not private but somehow it makes you feel a thousand miles and a full century away from any of today’s worries. The agent promoting the property made our; booking, welcome and exit process a warm and personal experience - thank you. It’s so important to have a good start to a holiday and you went above and beyond to ensure that! We have absolutely loved our stay.

Short stay with friends. Excellent location to shops and cafes.

Kitchen is well equipped. Bathrooms Are nice and big and beautifully updated and clean. 3 tvs in the property made it great for kids to have their own space. A selection of dvds to accompany the DVD players would have been nice. However, this is outdated tech and since the property has wifi, a chrome cast would be recommended so visitors can cast from their own devices. Outdoor area is lovely, yard is great for the kids to run around. Off street parking would be a recommended addition as there is plenty of room for it. Overall a great property with a great location. Will return as I’m a regular visitor Berry.

Fab Five Getaway

A delightful and clean cottage right in the middle of lovely Berry. Beautifully made comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, cosy sitting area in front of a fire. Pretty gardens and outdoor bbq area. My second time to The Cottage this year. Thank you for a happy stay.
