Great family vacation / holiday

Family met for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful stay. Was a very nice layout and we especially enjoyed the open floor plan.

Friends Trip

Very comfortable and quiet property. The fishing pond made the stay even more fun. Remote enough to feel like we were out of town but close enough to find nice meal options.

Wonderful country retreat

This house was perfect for my parents, aunt, brother, nephew, and I to stay in. The house was large, comfortable, and peaceful. We spent time on the porch every morning and several evenings of our stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Relax and Rejuvenate

This property was amazing! The setting was perfect, the views breathtaking. The house was large and clean, historic but with modern conveniences. The wrap around porch was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the views all around you. Our family will definitely stay here again!

Better Than Described!

It’ll be tough to beat this VRBO for our family. We had a family reunion about 15 minutes away, and four adults couples used this property as our home base. The rest of the family agreed that our small group had the best place to stay. We spent each morning and evening sitting on the porch, enjoying the beautiful view. There were plenty of unexpected extras (paper products, shower toiletries, great air conditioning…). This property has got to be the best option in the area!

Our Pittsboro stay

This house was perfect for our group. We especially enjoyed the large porch every morning with our coffee. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We have family in Apex and we attended an anniversary party at Fire Clay Cellars so it was a perfect location. The only suggestion I could make is to make the house numbers out at the road more visible. But it was an easy turn around once we missed it. Great house!

Great Outdoor Activities

This was the perfect place for our middle aged group of college friends and teenage children. The house was roomy with plenty of space in the 4 bedrooms and the gathering areas. The kitchen was nicely renovated and well stocked with dishes. The porch was amazing, with cool breezes, despite the 90 degree temps. There were several board games that were fun to play together. Our group will definitely stay here again if it is available when we return.

Clean and neat

I rented this property for family to be able to attend a wedding at a nearby venue. My sister commented that it was very clean and presented as described. There were a couple of minor things that I mentioned to the owner/manager. But overall, they were quite pleased with the place.

Peaceful, Tranquil, Beautiful

The property was just amazing. The large home was beautiful. A perfect mix of history and modern day convenience. It's fully stocked with everything you would need for a short or long term stay. The kitchen was fantastic, as well. It's the most important room to me. I especially enjoyed the large wrap-around porch with gorgeous views of the pond and up the hill where the cows grazed. It was the perfect retreat at a time when I needed it the most. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us, and quite spacious, so a great place for the entire family!

Peace and Tranquillity on the Farm

Son’s wedding weekend, Thursday-Sunday stay. What a wonderful setting, located right off the highway, so extremely easy to get to Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, Durham. Cary…the private driveway - road, takes yo from the highway to a peaceful and relaxing farmhouse, overlooking a beautiful pond, rolling pastures and tree lines, with a large and wide wrap around porch. We enjoyed morning and evening fishing, bass and brim, crappie; a novice or experienced fisherman, especially children, will enjoy. Was the perfect getaway from all of the wedding schedule and events in Pittsboro. The home has been updated, but not over the top, it’s comfortable met more than our needs; the kitchen has the basic needs covered. Brittany was the most attentive and caring host that we have experienced in our 10+ rentals in recent years; couple the wonderful setting, home with Brittnay’s

Restful Thanksgiving

We loved the property. It was in a perfect location for us. We were all comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. Taking a time-out from the hustle and bustle of life to sit on the beautiful wrap-around porch and laugh with those I love most was a perfect way to spend Thanksgiving.

Beutuful farm property! House was emaculant and well stocked with the essentials. Host was kind and prompt when I needed a response. October was the perfect time to visit the owner even let us pick pumpkins with my adult children :) So relaxing and fun!

Another Great Stay!

The farmhouse was perfect for our girl's retreat! The house was clean and comfortably furnished. We enjoyed cooking together in the large kitchen which included all the necessary amenities. The views of the fields (including pumpkins) and pond were lovely. Excellent communications with the owner. This is our second stay at this lovely Farmhouse. We will return.

Peaceful and tranquil!

We just loved the view of the fields and the pond! We stayed two nights because we were attending a wedding nearby. This place was just wonderful for what we needed. A lovely farmhouse with lots of space and begging for you to take a stroll. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. I would love to come back!

This house is amazing and the property is beautiful! It was a perfect place for our family to stay for a family wedding and is close to a lot of amenities (grocery store and restaurants). The entrance to the property is a little hard to find, especially in the dark.

Picture Perfect, Spacious, Gracious

Our group fell in love with this home. We didn't want to leave,; and all want to return. The home was immaculate; rooms, were large, halls and stairwells wide, and every space well lit. Beds were very comfortable, linens crisp, and bathrooms well supplied with plentiful towels. The fully equipped and well stocked kitchen is to be envied. Manicured grounds exuded serenity, viewed from inside and on walks around the pond. A basket of snacks was one of many signs of attentive hosting. To sum up: everything in the VRBO listing is true and then some.
