Clean but...

Pros Clean place and nice quite neighborhood Community pool and lazy river are good (Only in Summer) Cons I Paid $102 for the pool heat at this property for 3 days. But for all the three days the pool was very cold. They said the heat was on. Kids were disappointed and they were not able to use the pool. Took them to the community pool. That was cold too. On third day I asked for the refund. They said heater was on but the pool was still cold because of the climate. They don't do refunds. 2. In First floor bathroom, took shower and had to wait for the water to drain. It drains slowly so had to wait to open the shower again until the water drains.

Honest/Genuine Opinion…Roaches.

My family and I were extremely excited to stay in this home. The house looked just like the pics with the interior needing some updates/replacements from wear and tear of frequent traffic. We enjoyed our stay and made the most of it. I honestly hate having to leave this review with anything negative, but it is an honest one. I’m hoping this will be helpful to the host and future guests. It’s about a 45min-1hr drive from MCO airport, 45mins from Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure, 30mins from Disney Springs, 40mins from Gatorland, 30 mins from Disney but it takes about 1hr+ to get back no matter the time of day/night due to the exit being backed up as it’s one way in/out from construction. For a home that sleeps 15+ you are only allowed 5 parking passes anything over that will be towed. 2 vehicles max in the driveway and the other 3 can park on the street in first come first serve spaces. The cell tower service was not a good one. The moment we entered the resort cell service completely vanished and the WiFi was not strong enough to accommodate the large party of electronics. Upon arrival there was trash left outside in the driveway by housekeeping. The home appeared to be cleaned, however there was food from the previous guest left in the fridge and freezer. The carpet was a bit stained and dated with a moderate scent of mildew. You’re only provided 1 roll of toilet tissue for each bathroom, 2 towels in each bathroom w/ no wash clothes, no paper towels, 1 laundry detergent pod for the week, and no trash bags. Luckily we found extra colorful towels in the laundry room we assumed we’re pool towels. My parents ended up having to go to the super Walmart to purchase sheets and a throw blanket, they were not able to sleep in their bed due to what appeared to be sheets that wasn’t cleaned with a big yellow stain on it. The pool was very nice and clean, my children loved being able to see the little lizards and frogs that would visit on the outer portion of the fence. We rented the 4 burner grill for the week, we used it once for a few hotdogs before it stopped working as it didn’t come with a full gas tank or drip pan. Lastly roaches……..upstairs but mainly downstairs they like to come out at night, as soon as you turn the lights on you can see them scatter. Overall, again we enjoyed our stay just providing an honest review to hopefully help the owners and future guests.

Enjoyable family stay in large house in a well kept resort

Pros: Spacious well equipped house. Warm pool. Large screen TVs worked fine Cons: Solterra resort won't allow USPS mail to be sent to the property or resort. Some chairs and the stair carpet are due for replacement.

Family vacation review

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Pros: The house is very spacious and we had lots of room! The gameroom is in the garage and the kids loved playing in there. Some Cons: The neighborhood is very busy. We inspected everything when we first got to the house. There was a lounge chair outside that was broken and the outside pool and patio area looked bigger in pictures. Also the string for the blinds for the back door hung down really low which isn't ideal with kids. The microwave went out on the 2nd day. It took me calling twice two days in a row before someone answered and unfortunately was not able to be fixed before our stay ended. I would have liked the floors to be cleaner and I found a bucket with a small amount of dirty mop water in the pantry.

Beautiful home in Solterra Resort!

This property was exactly as described online. There was plenty of space for nine of us with room to spare! The property management was quick to respond to a broken pool light and the kids were swimming in the pool after dark before we knew it. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Overall nice property for large family

We greatly enjoyed our time at this property. The house itself was clean and spacious for our party of 10. Having a crib was a huge bonus, as was the waking distance to the clubhouse. The only concern we had with the actual house was that the projector was not working. The owners did have someone come out, who told us the cable box was not working and a new one needed to be installed. Unfortunately, no one came to install the new one during our time there. Also, the neighborhood is nice, but there were 2 domestic violence incidents across the street from us. People were verbally and aggressively assaulting one another. We did call the police, who came and took care of the situation. It was, however, quite scary for our kids. I’m pretty sure this was a fluke and the other household was also a vacation renter, so this does not mean at all that this is a regular occurrence in that neighborhood.

Great property

Very nice home with lots of bedrooms, and a great area for movies on the second floor. Easy walk out the backyard to the community pool. A few minor issues on arrival (no coffee pot, one TV wasn't working) but these were quickly handled (on a Sunday) by the maintenance service. We rented in June and did not need heat for the pool.
