Great location, just a block to catch the ferry or bus into the Sydney CBD. Our hosts, Neil, Elizabeth and Poppy were wonderful - friendly, welcoming, easy to communicate with and very gracious. I highly recommend this oasis in the city.

Elizabeth and Neil we're very welcoming and provided everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The B&B was spacious, sorry and had great views with a lovely little balcony too sit with shade of the trees. The location was perfect for us with many ships and restaurants locally and only a short walk to the ferry stop. The buses also ran regularly so all in all it was a great stay.

We had a terrific stay with Elisabeth and Neil and would recommend An Oasis for lots of reasons: wonderful hosts who made us feel so welcome and who genuinely understand the meaning of hospitality, great location close to restaurants and shops, very comfortable accommodation, and terrific spaces for doggies nearby. We hope to return!

Elizabeth and Neil we're very welcoming and helpful during our 2 stays in Sydney. The B&B is a really lovely, spacious place which is very comfortable. The balcony with views towards the harbour is sorry and a nice place to sit out plus the breakfast provided with homemade yogurt, jam and fruit compote etc is a great start to the day. We were so pleased to have booked 3 days followed by another 2 after a short break in the mountains as it felt like coming home again! We would definitely recommend it!

Neil and Elisabeth were so welcoming and relaxed. Being locals ourselves it was great to chat about shared interests and not worry about our over friendly dog! Property is in a great location and we particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the afternoon as the cooler breeze blew in off the water . Highly recommended.

Loved everything about this stay. The host neil was amazing. The unit was set up with fresh homemade condiments and everything you could think of was there. The views are perfect and access to ferry and buses are a few minutes walk.

Great stay in Balmain

Elisabeth and Neil are excellent hosts of a very comfortable, spotlessly clean property in a fantastic location with its own view from the deck - close to ferries, buses, pubs, parks and cafes and with a parking spot.

We had a great stay at Neil and Lizzy’s studio apartment. We were made to feel very welcome and we also had our privacy. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, and it was the perfect base for our 3 night stay. The breakfast supplies were very generous and tasty. We would happily stay again and recommend it to others.

It really is an oasis!

What a magical place to stay. Everything is thought of, from comfortable beds to delicious breakfast foods. Off street parking was also an unexpected bonus! The view is amazing from the deck and it really does feel like an escape. Highly recommended.

This accom was perfect for our weekend away. As well as being spotlessly clean, our hosts had thought of everything to make us feel comfortable and very welcomed. Breakfast supplies were delicious! We really appreciated their prompt communication and local area advice, as well as the off street car space - a big bonus in Balmain.

Pet Friendly in a wonderful location

We had a great stay with our cavoodle dogs at this property. The hosts were welcoming and we had everything we needed. Everything was very clean and thoughtfully laid out. Great location near many great walks and the property has scenic views. Will stay again when in Sydney!
