Wonderful property in a great location! We loved watching the sun rise from one porch and set from the other. Well stocked kitchen made preparing meal easy. We had an amazing vacation!

Just as listed. Kitchen is well stock with just about everything and some. Only missing was the deck umbrella. we brought our own and used it.

We had a lovely stay on Valentine’s weekend. The house was very warm and cozy, with lots of fun area art and lots of books! The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable.My husband and I had been very busy so this was a chance to slow down and enjoy all the wonderful nature experiences this area has. We enjoyed Swann Beach, the Duck boardwalk and many other. We had been to the area many times but had never experienced it with snow. It made our photographs breathtaking and our weekend was absolutely perfect! Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Our second stay at the “Sugar Shack”  was amazing. From the moment we walked in, everything was clean to a sparkle—you could tell the space has been cared for and meticulously maintained. It sets the tone for a relaxing getaway.One of the absolute highlights is the sun rise. Each morning it felt like a private show. Beautiful colors across the sky. It quickly becomes the favorite part of the day.The location couldn’t be better. We were just minutes away from great shopping and a fantastic selection of restaurants. Whether we wanted a quick bite or a nice dinner out, everything was conveniently close.What really makes the experience stand out is the host couple. They are incredibly genuine, attentive and helpful, quick to respond and are happy to offer recommendations.All in all, this place checks every box—clean, beautiful, convenient, and welcoming. It is a great value.You won’t be disappointed.

Our week at Sugar Shack was perfect! The location is amazing. We walked into Duck for donuts or the bakery every morning, the beach is steps from the door and it is close to all of the sights! The house had everything we needed and more! We will be returning next summer:)

Bud and Janice are wonderful communicators and the "Sugar Shack" is immaculate, well stocked, and perfectly located on the ocean in Duck! We will always stay there when it's available!

Nice place on the beach

Great property right on the beach. Wake up every morning looking at the ocean. Rental had everything we needed.

Ocean views

We had a great time! The host was super responsive and gave great recommendations. Views of the ocean were beautiful. Close to Duck boardwalk. Very clean townhouse.

Great spot with even better views

My sisters and I stayed here for a few days in between Christmas and New Years and really enjoyed our stay! Right on the water and super close to downtown Duck which is also adorable. We would love to stay here again!
