We stayed for Christmas. Mr. Smalley was an amazing host. The house is comfortable and quiet. It offers everything you might need or want. We are a family of 8 that stayed and had plenty of room. Our daughter and son in law joined for Christmas dinner and it was still roomy. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to book again.

The house was well equipped with plenty of kitchen items, so we didn’t have to pack extras—very convenient. All rooms, beds, and sleeping spaces were spacious and comfortable for our group. Located in a beautiful area, the house offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Tom, our host, always responded quickly to questions, both before booking and upon arrival. As an experienced home rental guest, I know hosts often use different services to maintain their properties. While the house is lovely, a few areas could use some maintenance, and perhaps it’s worth discussing cleaning details with the service handling turnovers between guests. There were no major issues; just small things like making sure all surfaces are wiped down and restocking toilet paper and paper towels for the next guests. These were easy for us to address with a quick clean-up and a run to Dollar General. Still, I realize that some guests might find these matters more troublesome. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return! Thank you for the wonderful view and comfortable accommodations.

Did not enjoy whirlpool tub. The knob to set the timer on tub was missing. There was also a problem with the wifi. We all had laptop computers and could only get on network once. Once you closed your computer, you could not get back on. Your cell phone, on the other hand, was able to connect. The smoke alarm in the ceiling in the kitchen area was hanging down and would go off with steam from cooking. We left as-is.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay! The house was beautiful, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a great time fishing and loved the amazing view of the lake. Tom and Debbie were incredibly kind and responsive, which made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

Annual Summer Family Visit

Our parents live in Savannah Lakes Village so when we have our twice a year family visits we try and get a house near them. The Smalley"s home was perfect for us last Christmas so decided to stay there again in the summer. Beautiful lake view, lovely home. Has all the amenities you will need and so nice to be able to use the garage. Tom and Debbie are wonderful hosts, always available if needed. Definitely recommend, and hope to return again for our Christmas visit!

Our visit to McCormick was for a somber occasion, but we were still grateful for the spacious, comfortable, and convenient accommodations at Tom's property. Had the circumstances been different, we would have certainly enjoyed the stunning lakeside views and the beautiful atrium. Tom was a great communicator and promptly resolved a minor issue with the Wi-Fi password. I would absolutely book this place again, as it offers all the comforts of home while being surrounded by lovely scenery.

Perfect Lakefront Retreat with Amazing Views and Relaxing Vibe!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy lakefront townhouse while in town for a fishing tournament. The owners were incredibly accommodating with flexible check-in and check-out times, making our experience hassle-free. The house itself is warm and inviting, with beautiful views of the lake from every window—no obstructions, just pure serenity. There’s a small beach where you can set up a chair and unwind, and it’s an excellent fishing spot, too. The quiet neighborhood was a bonus, providing the ideal getaway. Being just minutes from the Dorn Facility boat ramp and Lincolnton was a huge convenience for the tournament. Thank you again, we will see you again soon! Kimberly

Wonderful Location

Spent the weekend at this wonderful property. Enjoyed coffee each a.m. on the shores of the lake and enjoyed the sunset each evening. House is fully equipped with everything you need.
