広々としたログキャビン - エリアのアトラクションと小さな湖に近い静かな環境

My husband and I live in Chattanooga, TN and have always enjoyed visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. My husband and I both attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and I grew up in the Knoxville, TN area. We both spent a lot of time in the Great Smoky Mountains/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area (me as a child and both of us while at UTK). We both enjoy the Smoky Mountains and love the beauty of the area. We have been married for 43 years and have three grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren.

We chose Dogwood Haven (formerly Ava's Place) because we liked the proximity to the national park and area attractions and the ability to access the property via less traveled and/or backroads thereby avoiding many of the high traffic and frequently congested areas. We like the privacy, wooded setting and nearby community lake along with the variety of cabins instead of all of them looking cookie cutter. We also like the spaciousness loft, the interior of the cabin along with the king sized beds and the screened porch and front porch are great places to relax and forget your troubles. We now own two other cabins (Stars On The Water - VRBO 1916605 and You Are My Moonshine - VRBO 1184168) close by and having three cabins so close together makes it easier to provide services to the properties. One of our favorite things about '"Dogwood Haven" is the diversity it offers with the peaceful wooded setting and opportunities for shopping and other activities close by. Time spent on the porch swing, walks to the lake, etc. help one forget the stresses of home and work and find the joy and calmness a getaway to the mountains can bring.
