My out of state family stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. It was absolutely perfect for our varying needs and the hosts were very accommodating. I could not imagine the event and stay being any more perfect!

Wedding weekend!

We had our wedding at Moonshadow Ranch and stayed onsite Friday to Sunday. We absoutely love the drive into the property with the old tractors and all the cows and their babies!! The house is gorgeous and comfortable. The owners are extremely nice and able to provide whatever you may need!

Beyond my expectations!

We found this house about 2 years ago as a perfect close to home location to view the Total Eclipse on 040824. As time passed my husband and I decided to renew our wedding vows for our 20th anniversary. Our friends, daughter, and granddaughter stayed with us. The home is welcoming and warm but not overdone. Jack and Penny took great care to make sure we were comfortable. The home has comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen, and tons of space to spread out onto the porch, gazebo, and a walk to feed the goats. Great tables to gather around and a living room with enough seating for conversation and fun. We got some kite flying in. Watched the cows parade. This is a 5+ star home and so were our hosts. We would love to visit again and would recommend this home to anyone looking to have a family gathering. Thank you so much.

Excellent Getaway close to Austin

We rented this home for the Thanksgiving holiday and comfortably had 18 people for dinner. The home and facilities were beautiful, comfortable, and pleasantly quiet except for the occasional moo from one of the cattle. Great communications from the owner and despite the fact that it rained every single day, the great wrap around porch allowed us to enjoy being outside without getting soaked. I will be booking this place again in the future!!

Wedding weekend

I rented Penny’s beautiful property for family to stay in during my wedding rehearsal and weekend! Everything was clean and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Great views, porch, and spa to enjoy during our downtime! Everyone raved about how amazing the house was and had everything we needed. Penny was nothing short of amazing and a very attentive host! Will definitely be telling all my friends/family to book here again!

Perfect

The house is fantastic and clean. Completely stocked with tons of extra linens, laundry detergent, spices, all dishes you could need. Even ziploc, foil etc. We got a tour of the property and how everything works. Jack always answered his phone and even came to visit some. The kids loved feeding the goats and walking the property. Jack gave us a ride on the golf cart and let our kid drive it. There are plenty of beds and showers for everyone and a bonus shower in the laundry room. The only little complaint is the house looks white not green so I wasn't sure if I was at the right house or not lol. But thats it and it wasn't an inconvenience at all. Can't wait to go back!

Exceptional Accommodations

Our family enjoyed our time here very much. Jack and Penny were very responsive to our needs and except for a couple of minor inconveniences that were quickly remedied, our stay was perfect.

A wonderful place to gather!

We gathered our geographically dispersed family for Christmas, and this home was perfect. So spacious, clean, private and amenities beyond my expectations. definitely my favorite of all properties I’ve rented through VRBO. Penny and Jack are attentive and responsive hosts (even during the holidays) and I can not recommend their property more highly. The ranch is far enough from the city to get “away” but close enough to anything you need.

Just perfect!

The house was amazing and the spacious outdoors were just what we needed. My family and I are all from big cities and having a big house with spacious land all around was therapeutic. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and there was plenty of space for everyone to sit around and watch football. The dining table sat all ten of us for thanksgiving dinner which was nice. The hot tub in the mornings, the fire pit at night, and the gazebo/deck made the stay extra relaxing. Everything was clean and Penny was super accommodating while having all the little things provided. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Family Gathering Place

This property was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was fabulous as we hosted a bridesmaids brunch on Saturday for my niece before her wedding. The house is so spacious that even with 13 family members from 3 different states it never seemed crowded. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the views especially during sunrise and sunset. Penny and Jack were awesome and made us feel completely at home. Jack even gave my 5 year old grandson a tour of the ranch. Highly recommend staying at Moonshadow Ranch!

Perfect Family Reunion Location

Wow. Just wow. Gorgeous, fantastic house and property. Secluded and quiet, but enabled our noisy clan as we partied and celebrated the life of my wife, their mother and grandmother, and solidified our bond as a family. Quiet nights on the porch, feeding the chickens, petting the goats, playing cards in the dining room, and viewing the gorgeous Texas sunsets. Jack and Penny are really great people. We felt like they were part of the family, and we really appreciated Penny delivering fresh eggs! I can't say enough about this place, and we WILL BE BACK!

Amazing Christmas break

Every aspect of this home was amazing! The seclusion, yet still close enough to the thing you need. The quietness of the farm, the comfort of the furniture, the spaciousness of the home. The incredible christmas decor inside and outside of the home. The property managers where always immediately available if we needed them, but also gave us our space. We fed the goats, collected eggs, saw the stars at night. The lost goes on. We will definitely be back to Moonshadow Ranch!

Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving at the beautiful Moonshadow Ranch. The property is amazing and the hosts were properly attentive. Exploring the ranch on the owner's Kubota made it even more special for the grandkids. We are already planning a return visit.

Perfect in every way

We rented the property for our daughters wedding weekend which was close by. It was beautiful and absolutely perfect for the get ready process and just for all the family to get together. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own sleep space. The owners were great and communication was perfect. Absolutely no snags on this one. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Highly recommend!!
