Since the age of ten when I opened my first can of chili to the present as I creates my breakfast entree's, the kitchen has always been a fun place to work or play. The simple act of preparing a meal for someone else and receiving positive feedback turns the meal into a joyful event. If I were to define the concept of hospitality, I would sum it up in one word, “Pampering.”

This Historic Inn was designed with the comfort of our 21st century guests in mind. Most of our guest rooms have eleven-foot ceilings and elegant moldings, and are accessible by a commercial elevator. Every morning our guests awaken to the aroma of fresh coffee served with a delicious breakfast prepared by the Innkeeper. When Spring finally arrives our beautiful back porch overlooking the garden is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a craft cocktail or glass of wine from the Lyndon House Pub. When the garden is in bloom many of our guests just sit out there for no other reason than to watch the birds.

The Lyndon House provides guests with a safe, clean, comfortable and stylish place to stay while visiting Lexington. Located in historic downtown, the Inn is in walking distance to restaurants, shops, breweries, Bourbon Bars, parks and Historic sites. Within a short drive, guests find themselves in the middle of Horse country. The city of Lexington is surrounded by world class Horse Farms and is generally referred to as the “Horse Capital of the World.” Make the Lyndon House your home away from home while visiting the amazing Bluegrass area.
