Friends trip

House had great facilities - beds were amazing, bathrooms beautiful, outside area perfect and the heated pool was our favourite thing. Beach only 200m away. We had a wonderful time - house was perfect for us!

Great place in Port Douglas

The property is a perfect size for 2 families travelling together. It's about a 5 minute drive into Port Douglas, but if you need to get in your car anyway then it makes no difference. The local beach is 100m away and there are 2 good places to eat within 100m walking too. Would stay here again.

The townhouse itself was great. Blockout blinds would have made it even better. Also having a lockbox for the keys would have made it amazing. Picking up and dropping off keys to the Main Street was cumbersome with 2 small tired children after a long day flogging. The only disappointment was the pool. It was not warm at all and unlike the listing said, it was not private. This pool is shared between all 10 townhouses in the block. The river access though was great! Loved having breakfast out there and watching the ducks

Great venue, needing just a few tweaks.

The bbq was very difficult to start and probably needs servicing. We couldn’t get coffee pods anywhere that fitted the machine provided. Only two rubbish bags for 9 nights. Could do with a few little dishes/ bowls for serving snacks, some vinegar, tissues, paper serviettes. We bought quite a lot of items from the local supermarket but these were things that have been provided at other houses we’ve rented. Overall nevertheless brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Thanks

Great accommodation and location

My 3 friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cowrie Beach House. It was lovely and clean and had everything we required. The location was great with plenty of walks along the beach and only a very short drive into the hub of everything. The pool was gorgeous to swim in and we ate mostly outside enjoying the gardens and the warm weather. Would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here.

Unwind at Cowrie

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at Cowrie. The property was spacious, very clean and well presented with quality appliances, BBQ and everything required to prepare a meal. We enjoyed the garden outlook from the outdoor entertaining area and the pool was heated to the perfect temperature. The location was peaceful and just a few steps the beautiful 4 mile beach where we enjoyed some stunning walks. Would definitely recommend this property.

A fabulous property, we had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave. We hope to come back soon!

This property is exactly as it appears online. It’s extremely comfortable and clean with all the amenities and Ulysses Getaways were very responsive and super friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better property!! It made the holiday.
