Dirty carpets, busted door, and stole my prescriptions

Cleaning/laundry crew/staff STOLE my toiletry bag with prescriptions and several other expensive items. As soon as we arrived home, I realized it was missing and reported it, literally 4 hours later. Property managers did little to nothing to help including not getting back to me for days.Carpets were filthy. Matresses hard as a rock. Leak under the kitchen sink. Bathub wouldn't hold water. No amenities for children ie highchair. Did I mention the dirty carpets? Could not adjust temperature in hot tub. Front door knob and lock would not work.Extremely expensive stay did not meet our expectations.

Overall, this house was a great fit for 4 couples and a few kids. The layout and spaces are well-suited to a group, and the location worked well for us during the off season. It has great porches and a good outdoor space. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook at the house (2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers are great for a crowd). The house was generally clean but the main floor was a bit sticky, and it quickly dirtied our socks. If it is something you require, also know that the internet was spotty.

Great location and a roomy home.

Property needs better management with details of the upkeep. The cost, location, space and amenities made up for some property damage that has been left broken. They offered to fix it while I was there and apologized but that would have been intrusive and it will need fixing without guests being present. The sunsets from the rear balcony the two jucuzzi made up for upkeep issues

Great house for large family/friend group

Great house, everyone was very happy (9 adults and 1 child). Plenty of room to spread out with the 2 levels, kitchen table seats 10-16 plus the island chairs. 2 hot tubs and pool with plenty of seating around pool and on decks. Had a couple of maintenance issues that didn't need to be taken care of during our stay. Alarm system was a little annoying, keep beeping at control pad when the bottom door was kept open too long - like for hours it would beep. Not sure if it reset itself or my phone calls reset it. Only real complaint would be the mattresses and pillows most were uncomfortable (just a suggestion to replace/upgrade) but don't let this deter you it was a great house!! Pier and Fish Head's bar and grill across the street - great food!! Beach access right across the street so that was great also!!

Family Paradise and Fisherman's Dream!

Our family vacation at Sea Song II was perfect to satisfy all of the needs and wants of everyone in the group. We didn't need to leave the house other than to get groceries. We enjoyed the heated pool, which costs extra, but it was worth it to be able to enjoy water temps in the mid 80's. During the cooler evenings, it was a great benefit to have two, yes TWO, hot tubs! As an added benefit, the Outer Banks Pier is right across the street, and with the two complimentary pier passes that came with our stay, we always received a warm welcome by the pier staff. We were allowed to take the kids for walks on the pier, and the fishing was great for the fishermen in the group! There is also a restaurant on the pier, and they were able to accommodate our large group rather quickly. The food was great, and our waiter was very attentive and friendly as well! My kids already want to rebook Sea Song II again for next year!

Spring break vacay

The house is in a great location! Close to beach and lots to do in town. Plenty of space for a group of 13 people. Loved that it had 2 dishwashers and plenty of kitchen utensils and dinnerware. Only issue was the cleanliness of the house. It needed a good cleaning. Cupboards, ceiling fans/ light fixtures, windows.

Beautiful, spacious home away from home but...

This home was very spacious and very well equipped. Unfortunately, however, there are some mold issues which were noticed as soon as we opened the door (very musty smell). We did quite a bit of cleaning around windows and door frames. There is, what we assume is mold, around air/heating vents as well as ceiling light fixtures upstairs. You could see that some work had been done around some of the ceiling lights. We did close the door to the lowest level of the home and opened windows to help with the musty odor. We did call management and they offered to send someone over to clean but at that point we had already cleaned the window frames and door frames. If this can be taken care of.....this home home would be rated exellent.
