The Stables Shiraz Suite was a good choice for our Friday overnight stay in Langhorne Creek. It is in the centre of the town and a short walk from the Bridge Hotel which seems to be a gathering place for locals at the end of the week. The remodelling of the old stables is a great idea and in keeping with our wish to experience some of the history of Langhorne CreekThe bed was excellent. Good windows for fresh air on a cooler summer night. The freshly renovated bathroom is a bonus. This is a B n B and so cooking anything more than breakfast is possible but not really the the point of this accommodation. We booked for dinner at the hotel before booking the room.While still agile, we are elderly, and the stairs to the bedroom are steep. There was plenty of lighting which we used for safe nighttime trips down to the bathroom but some people might find this a bigger concern.All in all, the Shiraz Suite suited us well for a one night visit to a beautiful part of South Australia with three of our favourite wineries, Bleasdale, Lake Breeze and Bremerton close by. Loved my early morning walk.

We stayed at the stables over the weekend, and we couldn't thank the hosts enough. They went over and above helping us reach our venue safely which is not part of their service, just kind hearted country hospitality. Their accommodation is exceptional, whit breakfast of eggs, bacon , spinach , tomatoes, mushrooms with fresh juice and coffee awaiting you for breakfast in your own kitchenette. Upstairs king size bed was beautiful and comfortable in rustic surrounding of the renovated horse stable history surrounding you. Not to mention the double shower with beautiful natural toiletries there for your use. This is a stay everyone should experience, with humble hosts that have a beautiful property.5 stars . We will be back

Host Darren most helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Some dietary requirements were well taken care of. Amenities high standard and enjoyed. Location in centre of Langhorne Creek and not many steps from hotel! Not far from LC wineries. Great stay!

Situation great for the horse carriage winery tour pickup and drop off and across the road to a lovely country pub great place to sit in the cosy warm pub with a bottle of wine.Unfortunately we have a cold and rainy two days but made the most.Provisions left by the owner were most welcome.Easy check in and out. Didn’t use the kitchen much as we were a unsure about blowing a fuse.

The property is beautiful and the supplies are incredible. The food that is provided is amazing and delicious, home made salad, home made porridge, home made bread and biscuits. The property was clean and absolutely stunning. Loved it so much. Although I couldn't stay as long as I wanted to, the property owners were very kind and understanding and I would absolutely stay there again.

Lovely Langhorne

A fantastic staycation in a beautifully quiet location. We enjoyed all that Langhorne Creek had to offer and our host was exceptionally personable and friendly - checking in to make sure we had all we needed and hadn’t missed any local attractions !

Long weekend at The Stables

Very clean, nicely renovated, lovely setting in the centre of Langhorne Creek.Darren is easy going and informative.Good breakfast provisions.All you need for a long weekend in a beautiful area.
