The retreat was beautiful! Tons of kitchen amenities for cooking. The view was stunning and the lodge had great outdoor toy options for kids, and a ton of space to play around!

This house worked out well for our family of 10. We found it quite off the beaten path but a good central location for visiting the Cliffs of Mower, the Aran Islands and Galway. It was clean and beds were comfortable.

The house is beautifully furnished and extremely well-equipped for 10 people. Nothing was lacking and the host's attention to detail was evident everywhere, to the point of having a box of 'things you forget to bring' in the ensuite bathrooms. The end of our stay was spoiled by the fact that we could not enter our house because heavy rain had damaged the keypad system. The host operates a keyless system which means that the keypad is only way into the house. With a complete malfunction of the keypad (due to rain which happens regularly in the West of Ireland!) we had no access to the house. We had no emergency contact number, we had no emergency key and our host was unreachable until late in the morning the next day. This was of no use to us when we found ourselves locked out of our house at 23h15 and until 1am, in the cold and pouring rain. Disappointingly we had no follow-up apology from the host from having been exposed to such a dire situation. So a word of warning for those envisaging a stay in this house, please ensure that you have access to a Plan B should the key pad fail or malfunction.

Galway gem!

We wanted to go to Galway but love the country setting. This home was perfect. Only 45 minutes to Galway and a perfect place to relax after sight seeing. Great for large groups. We had 7 adults and it was great.

Peace and tranquility in real Ireland.

Best equipped and best designed VRBO ever. Minutes from wonderful restaurants and sights, this place is heaven. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

Das perfekte Ferienhaus

Das Haus hat uns tief beeindruckt. Die perfekte Sauberkeit und Ausstattung des Hauses, die weit über dem irischen Standard liegen, sowie die liebevollen Details machten unseren Aufenthalt besonders. Auch für Kinder ist alles bereits da was man braucht, von Hochstuhl über Spielesammlung bis zu Sandel-Sachen für den Strand. Das Haus ist sogar noch moderner und hochwertiger als auf den Fotos gezeigt wird. Die Gastgeberin war immer sofort erreichbar und sehr nett. Ein perfekter Aufenthalt!

Amazing Rental

We came with family for a reunion and rented both floors of the house. The house is absolutely amazing. I have rented a lot all over the world and this was one of the best places we have stayed. Everything you could possibly need is provided. If only I could have the same view from my kitchen sink at home. The outdoor space is beautiful but sadly Mother Nature did not cooperate and we were so disappointed to not be able to sit out there. We walked several times down to the beach which was a lovely morning walk. Kinvarra is close and is a very cool little village. The grocery store there was great. We could not have been happier with our choice.

Nice location for family day trips

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean, modern and had many added touches which made it feel like home. The property manager did a beautiful job of communicating and answering any questions while we were there. We would love to visit again!

Lovely near sea break...

Our group of 5 loved this 2 story home w 2 apartments; we rented both and relaxed in outdoor and indoor space traveling to nearby beaches, restaurants and pubs. Managers took care of one issue we had immediately. You can see the sea from the top floor as well as lovely countryside vistas...
