We loved Bantry 2 for our family holiday- we are a couple with 2 adult children and partners. The location away from the main strip was peaceful with spectacular views. The house was thoughtfully set up, comfortable and the layout of the bedrooms private. Better than expected.

This lovely house was the perfect spot for our family of 5. This spacious, well-appointed home features stunning views to the ocean and has everything we needed. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

Just lovely

A beautiful spot and excellent value. We had dinner at the Wharf which is within walking distance as was the very cute Bar Beach Cafe.

3 couples enjoyed 4 nights at this stunning home. Beautiful views from the kitchen and living space meant a rainy afternoon was still enjoyable.

Great house with great view

Our stay was great, the house was very spacious and the view was the best. Very close to Bar Beach and the Aquarium. Just a short walk, although you have to be careful as there is no footpath until you get to Bar Beach. Access to the garage can be a bit tricky, but once we got used to it it was actually very handy.

Epic spot

Great location! Great views, great house. Well stocked kitchen and nicely decorated. Easy walk down to the wharf if you like to fish and easy walk to bar beach to swim. Just too far to walk into town but it’s a quick drive. Lots of great spots to go on day hikes close by. We’ll be back!

Magical Merimbula

What a fantastic location and beautiful house that has simply everything you need. The owners have gone to an incredible effort in making this feel like a holiday /beach house with all the shells and decorations, it had a lovely feel to it, and thanks for the telescope, we could spy the seals and dolphins with it every morning which the kids loved. Never been to Merimbula before, but would love to go again!! Thanks for having us at your house.

Fantastic property spoilt by access

This truly is an outstanding property with great views and facilities. Key was in a lockbox in town, address given was wrong and when we found it it was empty. Then got directed to the right office and the manager commented that she was going to call us but was put off because of our international phone number. No instructions on getting in, and there’s not an obvious entry - all routes in are over grass. That said once we were in it was wonderful.

Big sky and ocean

We had a great week in Merimbula. The property has truly wonderful views over the bay and open ocean, and despite the unseasonably cool, rainy weather we enjoyed watching the movement of the clouds and streaks of sunlight breaking through. The house is in a very good location, with the wharf, Bar Beach and Middle Beach only short strolls away. Overall, very well provisioned and neat. However, the house is due for a deep clean and thorough dusting. One more serious concern was the strong and unpleasant musty smell in the main bedroom downstairs.

Stunning views, great location.

The property is neat, clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Spectacular views of the bay and far enough away from the town centre so that traffic noise is minimal but close enough in to walk if you’re so inclined.

Absolutely Gorgeous

The property was everything you could want. Close by to beach and cafes, comfortable and well appointed, immaculately presented and to top it all off, views all around. Absolutely spectacular, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning one day.

Excellent family holiday house

Very comfortable "real" holiday home, that feels like you're staying with family friends! All that you need for all weather (which we had all 4 seasons of in our short stay) with cosy rugs, candles, magazines, telescope and binoculars for whale watching, and with full kitchen facilities and plentiful crockery etc. Highly recommended for comfort and location.
