Just as great the second time around

Our friends and family had the best time at this property. Sharla is responsive, the house is clean, updated and beautiful and the location can't be beat (especially with little kids). It's our second time staying here and we will definitely be coming back.

Great time with family and friends!

We had a wonderful time! Very convenient to walk down the back stairs and to the small beach located on the sound. We rented jet skies and the sound was perfect for that. The location was great and just a short walk to the ocean side. We will definitely look into booking again at this location.

Perfect for the family.

The home and location were beautiful and the water was perfect for our small children. Rented jet skis one day, but most of the time just floated in the water. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect Family Spring Break

We absolutely loved our week and hope to come back as soon as we can! The house was big enough for our family of 6 to spread out and it had everything we needed. The best part is the private beach area right in the backyard! The owner was very attentive and even helped me find some local tennis courts. We are thankful for the wonderful memories we made!

Wonderful Thanksgiving getaway.

The property was wonderfully situated on the sound, just a few dozen feet away. It was well stocked. The kitchen was roomy and great for preparing large or small meals. A short 5 minute walk had us on the gulf playing in the waves. The pier was withing walking distance as well. Overall, great location, pleasant owners, wonderful trip! Thank you!

The Best Medicine

Long weekend getaway with friends was perfect at the house! Beautifully decorated, comfortable and in the best location. Private, quiet beach on the sound, with a short walk to the Gulf, perfect. Large rooms, plenty of bathrooms for all. We could spread out in the house or enjoy cooking together, it was just fantastic. Owner was excellent, stayed in touch before and during our stay. I've rented a lot of VRBOs, this one was excellent.

Paradise on the Beach

Wonderful location. Beautiful soundfront beach. Gulf very short walk across street. No matter what direction wind is blowing from, have your choice of beautiful locations. House set up wonderfully for single family or larger group. Owner very easy to communicate with and addressed all needs leading up to stay. Highest recommendation!

Perfect Birthday

My family and I had the most wonderful time at "Caribbean Soul" for my birthday. The accommodations are exactly as described and present an "at home" atmosphere that we all loved. The views were spectacular on the bay and the Gulf. Relaxation, good food, walks on the beach, lots of memories established. Perfect way to celebrate becoming 61. Thank you for your hospitality!!

What is not to love about this place! Great value, great location, and great owners. This place literally has something for everyone. Beautiful beach on the bayside to relax. If you want the big beach it’s only an easy 5 minute walk. The owners had equipped the house with anything you possibly may need. My whole family enjoyed themselves and can’t wait to book another week.

Best of both worlds

This was our first time staying in the sound side and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Private beach with great views right outside your door and a short walk to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Sharla was a pleasure to work with. With everything going on before our trip, she was upfront and way to work with. We were glad the rental van was lifted and we were able to enjoy this beautiful property.

Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our large family! Plenty of room and all the necessities that you need! We absolutely loved having our own beach and the public one is a quick walk. I can not even begin to explain how beautiful the sunset is from here! We have used VRBO several years for our vacations and Sharla was the best by far to deal with! She gives you so much information for not just the home but places to visit and eat! She is amazing! Over all the best place and experience we have had for our family! We hope to return in the years to come!♥️

Amazing Rental!

We really enjoyed our stay at Caribbean Soul! The house sits directly on the sound which was perfect for our family. The gulf side had red flags up all week and the waves were too big for our kiddos. Instead, we walked out our back door to calm waters every day and didn’t have to haul all of our stuff! The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner has been making lots of upgrades recently. She was very quick to respond any time we reached out to her. It is obvious that she takes great pride in her property and wants her guests to have the best experience possible! We plan to come back again!

Best Vacation Ever!!!!

We spent no time spent hauling tons of gear, small children, and coolers to the beach and there were no red flags or riptides for us. We just walked a few steps out the back and we were in Paradise!! The sound from the bay water gently rolling against the white sand was awesome. The house was perfect for our family of 10. Sharla was so responsive and friendly. We had a small issue with a cabinet and her handyman was there pronto. The neighborhood is nice and safe. You won't find a better place to vacation than Caribbean Soul!!! Trust me now and you can thank me later :)

All it's cracked up to be and then some

We just returned from a wonderful week at the Caribbean Soul, we had a group of 11 ranging from 60+ down to newborn. Everyone had such a great time and no one wanted to leave. The property was just as explained and could not have been more convenient. To be able to step out the back door in the morning to your own private beach and later in the day take a very short walk over to the gulf side is my kind of vacation. I especially loved the Coca Cola fridge in the basement that kept my Pepsi Cola ice cold for me. Above all, the owners and managing people were always very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely choose this property again.

Perfect Winter Getaway

My husband and I spent a relaxing, romantic week at Caribbean Soul and couldn't have been happier. Even if you have a large group you won't find a better value. This is a large but cozy upscale beach home. The view from inside is a good as the outside (night and day), so the cooler temps didn't take away from our time spent here. The location is fantastic and makes for a great home base from which to see beaches, parks, and historical sites from Mobile to Panama City and beyond. Navarre has everything you need and there are several places within walking distance of the house including convenience store, restaurants, and gift shop. The hostess, Vicky, is amazing and I would describe all of the nice things she did to accommodate us but I don't want to spoil the surprise! The water in the sound and the private beach is incredibly beautiful and our only regret about this vacation was not being to take full advantage of it. Do ask about fishing charters! Also can't forget to mention the view from the third floor jetted tub...amazing...

Expensive price for cheap lodging

Like pee smells? Area rugs and couches deliver this. Owner sent bathroom rugs for the fix?!?! What?!?A beach house with no beach towels. What?Want beach meal from the grill? Try a cheap charcoal grill.Often want extra bedding or blankets? Don’t look here. Nothing except the cheap sheets. Per their instructions, they don’t wash all beddings between visitors….likely why they smell. A premium priced lodging for families but filled with IKEA-like hazards, including doors that fall off when kids open them. Thankfully kids were hurt this time. My son quickly escaped before it fell on him. Did the owners install below code doors? Interior is cheaply furnished with knickknacks everywhere. Have kids? Knickknack hazards galore. As a seasoned veteran house rental on Navarre Beach, I expected more. I spent my childhood summer here with my granny, grandfather and lots of other relatives. I love the beach, not this house. With this house, I got a cheap house with hazards galore. Next summer, we have another house that delivers on quality, safety and view - at a better price.

My husband & I took our son/wife, daughter & 4 grandchildren to the Caribbean Soul beach-house. It’s hard to put into words how perfect this house was for our needs. There were 9 of us & there was ample room to be together & we still all had our private spaces when needed. The location was incredible! We had our own white sand beach & the grandkids were in the water (sound) by 7:00 AM every morning while the adults sipped their coffee on the deck keeping an eye on them. The sunrises & sunsets were amazing!!! The view from living room/kitchen is breathtaking through the floor to ceiling windows. The gulf side was just a short walk from the house. We enjoyed the ocean a few times but because of the red flags on the ocean side we spent most of the the time in the sound right behind our house. Being on the sound with our own private beach was key for our family. We were in the water pretty much all day, every day (which we would not have been able to do on the ocean side). Sharla was an incredible host!!! Her communication before, during an after our stay was amazing!!! I ask a LOT of questions & she went above & beyond giving information BEFORE I had a chance to ask any questions. We had never been to Navarre & Sharla sent a list of activities, restaurants etc. we might enjoy. That list of suggestions was key for us in planning our vacation & I could write glowing reviews for all activities we did. We’ll be back to Caribbean Soul as soon as we can!!!

We had the BEST trip!!!

We had an amazing experience and hope to go back! The house was wonderful and the hosts were wonderful- Sharla answered all my questions and gave me great advice on things to do in the area. We had 4 children ages 6-8 and a baby. I think their favorite part of trip was playing in the backyard- the host have tons of sand toys to share. They played in the sand for hours and splashed around in the bay. We rented paddle boards and enjoyed paddle boarding up and down the bay shore. We rented jet skis one day from a place close by- we were able to drive jet skis up to the shore behind house to switch riders- it was a blast! We could take a quick walk across the street to get to the ocean side. We could also walk to the Navarre Beach pier- sometimes we walked along the ocean shore and sometimes we walked the sidewalks. Our kids brought their scooters and enjoyed riding scooters on the walk to pier too! My husband enjoyed fishing at the pier- after receiving instruction from some wonderfully kind local fishers, he bought a $20 fishing pole from Walmart and a $7 pass to fish on the pier— he caught over 100 fish! It was so much fun. We saw dolphins in the bay and dolphins in the ocean eating fish around the pier. The kids swam in the neighborhood pool and enjoyed that too. The house was fantastic and the location is amazing- our trip was better than I could have hoped for!! Thank you Sharla and Brad!

Renew/recharge/connect

This was the perfect family getaway. For several years there where things that kept my family from being able to take a family vacation so when we were finally able to get together the place was a key component. We could not have picked a more perfect place to renew/recharge and reconnect. The house had everything we needed to have an amazing stay. The house was well stocked, the location was perfect and everyone in our group found what they were looking for. Whether it was Sunsets from the back porch or a nice stroll along the gulf at sundown , everyday offered new discoveries. We were able to walk to many activities including renting jet skis for the afternoon. We made some new friends along the way. Beach boy and his mom allowed us to enjoy their beach walks and gave us helpful hints on how to enjoy the area. We definitely are looking forward to coming back again.
