Close to many stores and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly and professional hosts. Comfortable space, had everything we needed for a 3 night stay and would book again on a future visit.

Nice place

This place was easily accessible and clean when we arrived. We were hoping the fire pit would have worked, and the kitchen had very limited baking supplies, but we made do and recommend this VRBO location.

Glamorous Get Away

My friends and I attended a conference this weekend at a local hotel, our rooms were comfortable, everything was super clean and we loved the decor. Would absolutely stay here again!

Quick trip

Location could not have been better! Close to the mall and right off the interstate. Allowed easy access to getting into Tukwila and Seattle.

Concert Weekend

Property was 10 mins from Sea Tac, close to the Tulkwa train station to downtown. Close to restaurants and shopping. Nice little spot tucked away at the end of road, very quiet. Beds were comfy, clean and nice place to relax. Everything a person needs for kitchenette. Only a couple minor things bedroom doors have issue opening and closing that makes a lot of unnessary noise for others and no temperature control that we could find. All in all great place to stay!

It was a nice little bnb for the amount of time I was there and the size of my group. The back patio was my favorite part to just sit outside with friends. It was a cozy stay.

Attentive host; very comfortable home

Hospitable hosts! Great with kids! They own a daycare next door but that was never a problem. It WAS great for our 4 year old! She made a new friend! Very comfortable space. Hosts were always alert of our needs. We loved their story about how they started their vrbo space.

Quiet in the City

Even though this spot is just minutes from the freeway and a busy area, you wouldn't know from where it is tucked away. We also, never heard any noise from the main house. We needed a spot to stay for some planned Seattle area activities and the price blew away all of the hotels I looked at. My only complaint would be that the back deck isn't more secluded. Otherwise this was perfect for what we were looking for.

Awesome first time visit to Seattle

This property we stayed at was perfect. I'm glad that I was able to located a property like this in Seattle. It was my first trip to the mainland and I really enjoyed myself. The location of the property was beautiful. It sits high up on a hill and the highway isn't too far from the rental. But you rarely could hear the traffic. I would stay here again if we ever travel to Seattle. Thank you to Habtelul and his family for providing a lovely vacation rental.

Excellent Location

Close to restaurants and shopping. Clean, comfortable, equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Reserved parking during stay, quiet neighborhood, I highly recommend staying here.

Some caveats but overall good

Reading a previous review and here’s our thoughts. The property is shared and should be listed even though it has its own door. There are two kids the owner takes care of so if you don’t like kids or it bothers you (due to lack of privacy, sitting outside on patio, smoking a cigarette, whatever) then consider another place. It didn’t bother us and they were well behaved kids that played well together usually between 10am and ? We left the house usually around 11am till late. It is true, you will not have thermostat control. We were mostly comfortable but that can be a problem. Shower was fine for us but needs pressure, it was ok. We didn’t hear yelling or screaming as we were out every day. We only met the wife and she was very cordial and friendly. The mattresses could be better, that would be my only gripe but I don’t like soft, your mileage may vary. Location is great and a few miles from airport and a mall which we never went to as we were hiking or walking in Seattle area all day.

Listing not accurate.

Terrible experience. Owner listed property as separate but is connected to main home where they run a daycare. We only spent a few hrs there and in that time we found issues as follows: #1-shower only offered scalding hot, freezing cold, Luke warm/cold. #2-cars coming in and out of property and small children running around joint backyard without supervision, #3-they have ac but it’s controlled by owners home thermostat and wife complained and yelled saying “they need to leave” (we could hear through walls) because cooling was turned on at 68-70 degrees during a heatwave. Being in an environment where there is contention was not on our agenda. We were willing to deal with the other things as owner agreed to have someone fix the shower and he said he’d turn on the ac to accommodate us. But we will not feel threatened or unsafe. Owner said he would give us full refund while in mediation with vrbo but then tried to charge us for one night along with fees. We had to knock on his door at 10pm while videotaping to again ask for full refund to ensure our family could find a safe and adequate place.

Top Notch Place

Unit is a converted 3-car garage, with on-grade access and parking at the door. The owners are in the original house portion of the structure and are friendly, available, and accommodating. Desirable location. Clean and spacious 2-BR unit with well equipped kitchen and deck with BBQ grill.

Overall good stay, but burned in shower

The unit is clean and comfortable, the owner extended our stay twice due to a change in our plans and made it easy to pay for the additional nights via the Vrbo app. The only concerns/complaints we have is that the description of the unit does not state that this is an attached unit to the owners home. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal but the fact that we were traveling with our young twin toddlers so obviously they will get fussy and cry making it stressful for us knowing there are people on the other side of the wall - like an apartment. We rented this unit under the impression it was a detached home because of pictures posted on Vrbo so we think it would be nice of they stated the obvious in the description. Also, the shower was a big issue because you only got two settings, scorching hot or scolding cold. That really needs to be addressed because I don’t know anybody that likes either one, especially children. We ended up having to bathe our children at the grandparents house after a couple attempts because they just screamed due to the fact that we obviously weren’t going to burn them with hot water and they didn’t appreciate being showered in Cold water. Other than that, the location is very convenient to the airport and restaurants/shopping. Kitchen is stocked with basics when it comes to cooking. We tried to make a pizza and set off all the smoke detectors so be sure to run the fans and open the sliding door if you do so.
