Nice view but apartment was very dirty

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view and location of the apartment was great, but the place looked like it hadn't had a proper clean in a long time. There was grime and dust in the corners and in the cupboards and under the beds etc. It's like it just got surface cleaned each time and not properly cleaned. The couches were stained and dirty and some of the cushions need to be cleaned or replaced.

This two bedroom apartment is located on level 6 of a residential apartment block only a block away from Port Macquarie's Town Beach. The apartment was quiet, spacious and offered outstanding views of the beach and coastline from the balcony and kitchen window. The apartment is fully self contained with a large kitchen and dining room as well as a large lounge and modern TV. The location is within easy walking distance of the Port Macquarie CBD with numerous restaurants, bars, shops (including two supermarkets and a Target) as well as a cinema complex. The apartment can accommodate up to 5 people with one bedroom with a queen size bed, a second with two singles and a pull out single bed if needed. On a negative note this property does not offer any linen, towels or bathroom consumables (ie soap, shampoo etc). We also found the initial instructions to get in and park quite vague (but we figured it out!). Overall though wonderful value for money for a great family holiday accommodation

The furnishings were attractive and comfortable.There were plenty of windows in the living space to enjoy the outlook.We enjoyed the quietness of carpet, with tiles in the bathroom, laundry and kitchen. The kitchen was large with plenty of bench-space and well-equipped with kitchen essentials.The bathroom was large and clean with his and hers sinks.The best part was the balcony overlooking Town Beach where we could sit with a cuppa and a book and enjoy the relaxing view.It was easy to take a walk into town for morning tea or lunch and a bit of shopping.We met friends for dinner at Mekong Thai Restaurant, but generally this was a "wind down, do nothing break", which is what we did.We will definitely be returning here.Petra and her team at Elders are amazing and helped us find and book this great unit that met our brief.

Great location

Huge apartment in a perfect spot. Amazing views from all windows. Walk to beach, shops, restaurants. I would love to live here. No Wifi (although this is listed in the property profile. The property listing does mention cable/satellite TV, however there are just the standard free to air channels. Disappointing as without wifi this was a big drawcard for us as a family. Loved our stay none the less

There are a couple of maintenance items to be addressed which would improve the comfort of our stay (fridge defrosting leading to leaks, and clock doesn't work with new batteries). But the location is very convenient and space is comfortable

Reviewer Comments: we have stayed in this unit before so was an easy choice to do so again. its in a good location, with views to the breakwall and beach, a 5min level walk through the park to Town Beach and a 15/20min walk into the shops and restaurants.the complex has a great clean pool if you dont want to short walk to the beach.Unit is well equipped with plenty of blankets and in the kitchen. its a good size for a 4 or 5 person family with good views and seabreezes.

Staff at Elders , Petra , Lara , Ann & Ash very efficient at taking all the work out of bookings & collecting keys & fixing any problems that may arrise , Thankyou girl's .Highly recommend this area.
