Perfect Place!

This is a perfect place for a visit to Austin. Great location and very clean. Much better than a hotel room. Make sure you get a coffee and breakfast burrito down the street at Litchfield's. The best one in Austin! The hosts were great and really enjoyed my stay. Would look to book again when needed.

Great little cottage!

Kristen was a wonderful hostess and was prompt with stay instructions and local suggestions. Property is clean and very well maintained. Nice amenities were a bonus (Keurig, bottles of water, bath products). We felt very safe in the area, even when arriving back to the property very late in the evening.

Another great stay!

This is our 3rd time to stay here and we love everything about it. Nice area, away from crazy campus but not long to get there to see daughter. Clean and all the amenities you need. We’ll be back!

Amazing Stay

Kristen's home was an amazing getaway for my wife and I in a wonderful location that was close to several areas we wanted to go to (downtown, Butler Trail, Moody Center, South Lamar, Congress Ave and the Domain). Her home was beautiful and comfortable that provided all we needed for a couple days getaway. Kristen is a thoughtful host and we will always look to her home first for our future Austin getaways.

Great return visit to Tarrytown

We stayed at this property last fall and I booked again for a visit to see my daughter this spring. We love this property...great location, easy to get to campus, downtown, the Domain. Everything is well appointed and clean; cute quiet neighborhood. I've already booked another stay here!

Tarrytown Jewel and Thoughtful Hostess

The carriage house is spotless, well-designed and a great location in one of Austin's most beautiful neighborhoods. Littlefield's is just a short walk down the street for breakfast tacos and coffee. The best part of my stay and the reason why I will return: Kristen went over and beyond to accommodate me even though she had a family member in the hospital. I'm grateful to have found this jewel and will return.

We had a great stay! Beautiful accommodations, everything we could have wanted for a weekend visit to Austin. Kristen was so welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be staying at their Carriage House in the future.

Perfect place!

We had an excellent time in Austin at Kristen’s cozy cottage house. It was the perfect place and had all the amenities we needed. It was up to date, clean and cozy. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful carriage house stay

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this sweet carriage house loft apartment. It’s in a lovely family neighborhood so it’s a ride to downtown but is quiet and tranquil so makes for good rest. With a coffee shop and breakfast taco truck a two minute walk it provides a perfect morning experience if you don’t want to use the provided kitchen. We would absolutely stay again when we come back to Austin.

Stellar Stay!

Absolutely loved this property! The location was excellent, on a quiet residential street, only 0.1 mile away from access to Mopac to get anywhere within Austin easily. Private entrance, and all the amenities you need. The place was spotless, decorated to a tee, and the host was even nice enough to order a new, larger loveseat for the space since I was staying longer than her typical weekend/overnight guest and working from the apartment (I was in town house hunting). She also checked in frequently to make sure I had everything I needed. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Perfect for a long weekend!

My boyfriend and I decided to get out of town for a long weekend. This was the perfect space. Clean and nicely decorated. If you don’t do well with stairs, this is not the space for you, as it is an over garage apartment. We had privacy and really liked the location. It was a short drive or uber to anywhere we wanted to go.

The Carriage House was spotless! Plenty of room for a couple visiting town. Everything you could possibly need and more. Kristen and her husband were both so helpful! Best VRBO stay in Austin at a very reasonable price.
