Perfect location

We chose this condo complex because it is less than a mile from Sabino Canyon. We enjoyed the pool complex and used the bike shed to lock up our rental bikes. Condo was clean and quiet. The only thing to note which previous reviews probably mentioned was that it is on the second floor. If one has difficulty with stairs, this condo is not for you. The A/C worked great (90 degree days) and the water pressure was strong.

We had a wonderful stay in a great condo community. We had good communication with our host to ensure a seamless entry into the property. Everything things was as advertised, if not better!

Very nice condo, great location

I stayed for the Month of May. Everything was perfect and I will definitely stay here again. Residents in the complex are retired or vacationing. I was pretty much the only person in this building, so it was very quiet. Right next to the pool and community center which was very nice and never very busy. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Beautiful mountain views from the kitchen window and balcony. Communication from the host was excellent, including letting me know of a brief pool closing. If you only need one bedroom, this is the one for you.

Very Nice!

Very nice and clean with great views of the Catalina Mountains. Conveniently located a very short distance to Sabino Canyon hiking. Very good directions and communication from the owner. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Cozy, clean, quiet, and very well decorated.

We used the property for 16 days in April. I had forgotten how perfect the weather is in Tucson in April, and rates and availability are much better after snow-bird season. Also the cacti are in bloom. The unit is perfect for a couple. It's amazingly well and consistently decorated, with a turquoise and light sand color beach theme that extends to the cooking utensils, wall hangings, all linens, knife set handles, glasses, dishes, and even the sink drain filter. :) The only thing we didn't like was that there was no cable-tv subscription, although the smart TV can connect all the streaming services (HULU, Amazon, YouTubeTV, etc.) you may already have. Overall, though, our stay was very enjoyable. In the morning, the sun bathes the balcony and it's perfect for soaking up some sunny warmth with a view of the Catalina Mountains. In the afternoon, when it can reach the 90s in April, the balcony is shaded and with a breeze is perfectly comfy even at those kinds of temps. The clubhouse complex with the pool, hot tub, and tennis/pickleball courts is right across the street. Doris provides everything one might need for the stay, including odds and ends like dishwasher soaps, trash bags, even scissors, tape, Sharpies, and some tools, too. Highly recommend.

Property was clean and well-stocked with a pleasant view of the Catalina Mountains from the balcony. Area was generally quiet. Nice to have the pool and tennis/pickleball court.

Beach House in the Desert

We found this condo to be well maintained and located in a perfect setting for our activities in Tucson. Our host had everything ready for our arrival and was excellent for keeping us informed of any special actions being taken in the complex. The condo helped to make our visit to Tucson the perfect get away.

Winter getaway

It was a nice clean property with a very comfortable King size bed. Small balcony with very little sun but weather wasn't great anyway. Location was very close to Sabino Canyon. Great destination for biking and hiking.

Catalina Foothills Getaway

As close to a perfect stay as one could hope for. This is a really nice condo complex, and Doris’ rental has so much going for it. Fun and calming beach themed decor, gorgeous views of the mountains, plenty of windows and vaulted ceilings to make things light and bright. Fully stocked in all ways; nothing is forgotten! The perfect king bed; we slept 2-3 extra hours a night. Doris and John are gems. Kind, concerned, “on top of it” hosts. We were completely happy. Thanks Doris and John! Hope to see you again.

Clean upstairs apartment in a nice condo village

We loved the location in northeast Tucson, not as busy a part of the city, and very close to Sabino Canyon and shopping. The condo complex had a club house with pool, spa, gym equipment, and library. The view from the apartment included the mountains above Sabino, and the morning sun on the peaks was beautiful. The small veranda had a table and two chairs, but the January mornings were a bit cool for morning coffee out there. There was a TV in the front room and one in the bedroom. The theme of the apartment was a the seaside (beach house). There is a lot to see in the Tucson area so we will likely return someday.

Enjoyable Stay

We stayed in this lovely condo for two weeks in November 2022. It had everything we needed and the layout was efficient and comfortable. The property had a nice pool and hot tub, gym and tennis/pickleball court - all right across the street. It is well positioned to get acroos the Catalina Foothills for shopping, or drop down into Tucson proper. Right up the road (5 minutes) is Sabino Canyon which we visited several time to hike. It's also on the Mt. Lemmon side of Tucson, making that spectacular drive close by. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Lovely, relaxing

This is gorgeous property with a gorgeous view. The "welcome to the beach" theme decoration is carried out in every room. You don't even have to go out onto the patio to see the mountains. You can watch the ever changing light and shadows on the mountains lounging on the plush, comfy white sofa with all the turquiose accented throw pillows. From there you can look up to the skylight and see the the clouds sailing across the sky and the top branches of a gigantic sycamore tree with creamy white bark. There is every amenity you could possibly need even paper products, soaps, big fluffy turquoise "beach towels" for use at the pool. Speaking of the pool, the landscaping around the pool is full of tropical plants and palm trees. So relaxing. Doris, the host is so easy to deal with and accommodating. Oh, and don't forget morning coffee on the patio with a refreshing breeze coming off the mountains which look lavender in the morning light.

Wonderful condo, with nice proximity to the foothills.

This is our second stay at Doris and her husband's condo. Its a perfect 1 bedroom and at a good price. The place was fairly clean, but could of been a little better. (My wife and I are cleany people, though) We will stay again in the future. Thank you Doris.

Perfect Condo and Stay!

My mom and best friend stayed here for 1 week, they had a great stay. The condo was exactly as pictured, very clean, tons of natural light. The patio was perfect with great mountain views. They had covered parking for their rental car. The pool was beautiful and everyone they met was so friendly. The condo is a 2 minute drive from Sabino Canyon, which they walked every morning! They are already making plans to stay here again in the future.

Relaxing in Tucson

Nice, 1-bedroom unit close to Sabino Canyon with a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels & supplies. The bedroom carpet needs stretching or replacing, but the unit is clean & cozy!

A darling place with a view.

This is a special place that looks onto the Catalinas. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, the tv setups were easy to use, and the decorations (beach theme) were delightful. The bed was especially comfortable.

Amazing Tucson Condo!

The attention to detail throughout this condo is incredible! The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The condo is decorated beautifully throughout with finishing touches and amenities everywhere. The bedroom is very quiet and comfortable with a wonderful bed, massive walk in closet, and a nice sized Roku TV. The views out the doorwall and the kitchen window are breathtaking! We enjoyed our coffee watching the mountains glow in the morning sunlight and finished the day taking in the wonder of the Tucson sunsets as they painted the hills and canyons. Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is literally 2 minutes away and is truly an amazing place for hiking and adventure. If you are an avid outdoor person, this is your ideal basecamp. This gated community was very quiet and we felt very safe and secure. Our host Doris was excellent – checking in with us to see if we needed anything during our stay. We stayed at this outstanding property for two weeks, and left wishing we could stay for months!

Perfect in all ways

We loved this place. The location was close to hiking locations and near great restaurants and grocery stores. The entire complex of condos was well managed, quiet, spotless, andvthe pool was closely, heated and very quiet. We plan to re visit.

Wonderful stay

We were very impressed with the exterior before opening the door. The grounds and landscaping were clean and beautiful. When we opened the door we were in shock at how beautiful the interior was, everything was so well stocked and organized, the kitchen was ready with a nice inventory for our stay, and everything was tidy! We were impressed with daily walks, the Club House, pool, friendliness of all....we honestly couldnt have asked for more. We look forward to returning soon! Thank you so much!!
