Reviewer Comments: where we stay is great but the property needs a lot of upgrades.The drapes in front rooms need attention,mattress in the single beds need replacing lounges need replacing they sag the dishwasher certainly needs replacing this house has a lot of potential but needs a lot of TLC

Reviewer Comments: The home was large and overall great, but a bit of an update of old ripped curtains would be good, and there were quite a few cobwebs, so the service fee is a bit much considering it wasn't that clean to begin with.

Reviewer Comments: To begin we will identify what we consider as negative points of our accommodation. # Lounge room; couches need replacing, broken and/or sagging. # Window drapes; cords nearly broken. # 4th bedroom; single bed sagging. # Kitchen/lounge folding door still broken. # Passage sliding door, floor guide missing. # Cutlery quantity needs reviewing. # Dishwasher, top cradle faulty. This year (2023) on entry we found it to be much cleaner and tidy.

Lots of space & good value for money

Property was very spacious, plenty of room for 14. Based on the space and location it’s excellent value for money. We would definitely stay there again. Had some issues with the cleanliness & quality of the kitchen appliances, crockery, cooking pans, etc. Next time we’ll bring what we need for the kitchen, but otherwise it was exactly what we were looking for.

The disappointing aspect was the general lack of maintenance and tidiness throughout the house. We would recommend this house to friends but would also advise that an inspection be done if possible, before committing.

Comfortable large house great for multi family holidays, kitchen was well equipped to cater for larger groups which was good and a second fridge in the laundry was a great idea, house could use ceiling fans and a larger dining table along with a double lower bed in each bunk bed room, but otherwise good stay for our 3 night visit

Unloved and run down.

Disappointing Uncomfortable furniture and lacking basics for a rental. Mattresses old and un comfy. We washed all bed clothes again before using as didn't look clean. One bedroom doors didn't stay shut. Sporadic furniture, nowhere to hang clothes in most rooms. Loving furniture, old and tatty. Missing half a dozen light bulbs when we arrived. Door handle fell off. Some Kitchen equipment old and grim. I won't go on. I wouldn't recommend nor return to this property.

Perfect for large families

We had 3 families staying here, comprising of 2 adults and 6 children. The house was large enough to accommodate us all easily without us tripping over each other. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 living areas. Once adult couple slept on the futon, which wasn't terribly comfortable, but appeared to be a better option than the sofa bed. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to cook, with plenty of plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. The house was clean & tidy, as was the yard. It was walking distance to the Mahalia Coffee cafe and the fantastic kids playground on Robe Street. It is also an easy walk into town if you feel like stretching your legs. Thanks for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
