Rent some where else
The condition of this condo unfortunately fell significantly below the standards we expected and typically associate with Vacasa rentals.
Our arrival was marred by several issues impacting cleanliness and overall livability. The condo was demonstrably unclean. Specifically, we found significant dirt and crumbs on the floors, stained and soiled bed linens in the master bedroom (containing food particles and hair), a broken living room blind creating insufficient lighting, and hair in the bathroom. Furthermore, we discovered dead insects on the windowsills and a considerable accumulation of dust throughout, particularly in the master bedroom and on the bed frame. The lack of adequate storage space also proved problematic. Only one closet was available for our use, and it was largely unusable due to two large storage bins occupying most of the space. This severely hampered our ability to unpack and comfortably settle into the property.
These issues collectively created a deeply unsatisfactory start to our vacation and significantly detracted from our overall experience. This is especially disappointing given our positive past experiences with Vacasa properties.
I want to express my sincere appreciation for the prompt and professional assistance we received from Stephanie at Vacasa. Her immediate and effective response to our concerns helped to mitigate the negative impact of the property's condition. Her dedication to customer service is truly commendable.
However, to ensure future guests have a more positive experience, I feel it's important to bring these maintenance and cleanliness concerns to your attention. Addressing the numerous issues we encountered requires significant improvements to the property, and I would strongly urge the owner to invest in thorough cleaning, repairs, and potentially a reassessment of the property's suitability for vacation rentals.
Thanks to the assistance of Vacasa staff, we were thankfully relocated to a different, impeccably maintained property. This positive experience underscores the high standards Vacasa can maintain, making the contrast with this particular condo even more stark. Therefore, while I cannot recommend this particular condo, I would readily recommend other Vacasa properties.
