The location with beautiful beachfront views had many hours watching the surf on the front porch. The house was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities that I needed.

Getting very tired but we enjoy staying here, expectations are managed and all the basics are there. We love the proximity to the beach, closed in yard for the dogs. New mattreses was a nice surprise from our last visit.

This is a very unloved and unclean property desperately requiring upgrading. Non functioning split system for 8 of my 12 day stay, filthy unusable oven, stained furniture and carpet, black mouldy bathroom outlets etc etc. Great view but I had to clean inside of windows to see out. Good WiFi but I definitely would not stay again or recommend to any one else. Balcony is extremely dangerous as missing downward rail leaving a large gap. I was aware this is an older property but did not expect this very poor level - quite insulting. Communication with the booking agent was prompt but ineffective and quite frankly useless.

"75th Birthday"

Lovely large property although a bit dated & faded.Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean.The view was excellent.We had an enjoyable time.

Girls getaway

Property was no frills neat and tidy. Was good for what we wanted but with stairs in the middle of the room would not like to stay with young children. Tea/coffee and small milk was supplied but it would have been nice to have a few other basics such as salt and pepper would have been nice.

Middleton Stay

Loved the location, the beach. Cleaning needs improvementand mold in upstairs bathroom on the grout and in the sink plug outlet. Will be back again, perfect! Thank you, Christina & Richard

Just what we needed

A week of groundhog days…. Waking up to the beach, surfers, seals…. Beach walks with the dogs, neighbour hood walks, starry nights, puzzles and books. Our fifth visit was wonderful, hopefully stay number 6 isn’t too far away. Love it!

Overall very good. Nice & quiet. Only annoying thing was there was only 1 decent teaspoon & not enough washing up liquid. We had a great time & pretty pleased with our choice.

Family beach holiday

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unwind are not very professional in handling the property. At one stage they randomly canceled the booking and then took final payments from incorrect card they were not authorised to.The oven stopped working. While we understand it may be difficult to get service staff during holidays, late January is hardly peak season and sending a ‘brush off’ sms is not acceptable. We were forced to use the very small BBQ and were clearly told we would be charged $50 if we did not clean it.While we enjoyed our holiday, we will never use unwind again nor stay at this property again.

We have stayed in this property on a few occasions due to the location and proximity to the beach. It is one of the older 'shacks' but good to see that the property was clean and everything was functioning including a new TV.

Middleton Winter Escape

Although property is dated, it was clean and tidy. Amenities were certainly satisfactory. Location is fantastic and close to other communities along the Peninsula. A perfect spot for a family holiday close to the beach.

We always enjoy Middleton and the property is perfect - on the beach, plenty of space and very functional. Enjoy views of the ocean, easy access to the beach and backyard cricket.
