God's Own Cottage - 北インドのクマオンヒルズにあるのどかなリゾート

An adventurous homemaker fond of travelling and meeting people. Married into an "Army" family, my husband a veteran
( Lt General ), we have traveled extensively in the hills and remote areas of the country. We take pride in our bungalow, which was developed and constructed on a fairly steep hill side at considerable effort and time.
I grew up and did my basic schooling at Birmingham, UK ; moved to India after my marriage. Fond of golf, hiking, gardening, reading and cooking ( my forte! ) and meeting people. We will be delighted to host guests and have them shown around the Kumaon region.

Located atop a hill at 6,000 ft in an idyllic
rural setting almost at the edge of a jungle, the Cottage is private and secluded yet totally safe and secure. We are accessible by a black top road right up to the porch. Bhowali town, the fruit market of the Kumaon region, is just about 2 Km away. The Cottage is centrally located from the main touristy resorts of Nainital, Ranikhet, Ramgarh / Mukteshwar and in close vicinity of various renowned mountain lakes and tarns.

The magnificent views of the surrounding hills and country side from the Cottage, the elegant Alpine decor, high wood ceilings og burnished pine, antique furniture, quirky memorabilia of military and old world charm, ornate paintings and lithographs make for a truly memorable experience for the guests. The live log wood fireplace in the Living Room enhances the ambience especially during rains and winter making it more grand. With
warm, welcoming , polite and trained Staff and surrounded by manicured gardens and fruit trees, GOD's OWN is an ideal getaway and refuge especially for city dwellers !
