We loved the place and its location. When I booked it, I knew the bedroom was upstairs but the stairs were tight especially for my husband who had a knee replaced 6 months ago. I also didn’t realize the bathroom was downstairs from the bedroom. The hot tub and beautiful yard was appreciated. I’d come back in the summer months when flowers are in bloom and the pool is open

Lovely little place and we did enjoy our stay. Sharon had the entrance filled with large pots of Mums. Very cheerful! One thing that was a little challenging was that there is no bathroom off the only bedroom on the second floor. My husband and I are approaching 80 and getting to the bathroom in a timely manner in the middle of the night would have been much easier if there was an adjoining bathroom. Other than that, we had a wonderful time.

Very nice- the owners were nice and accommodating ( offered us use of their pool and hot tub) . Location was great for accessing spots in the Hudson Valley that we wanted to visit ( West Point, Hyde Park, Olana. Etc). Easy parking and close to the entry door , coffee maker with coffee supplied

The Antique Stone house is a "Home away from Home." It is nestled in a quaint, historic neighborhood, the driveway had a parking space waiting just for us, the apartment is clean and comfortable, a living room featuring a fluffy couch and chairs to watch the fully loaded TV (Netflix, peacock, etc). A kitchen with a nice 4- seater table to eat, The shower had hot water and great water stream- not a little trickle like many hotels have. The stairs leading to the bedroom upstairs are a tad bit daunting due to their narrowness and height (we were warned in other reviews) but they aren't a big deal at all and the Queen bed was comfortable and we had absolutely no problem falling asleep. We loved floating around in the heated pool. There is a hot tub, but we didn't make it inside because we were enjoying the pool. Most of all, our hosts, Sharon and John were very inviting and friendly. They were helpful with tips about places in the area to eat, etc. When we return to Kingston we will definitely be staying at the Antique Stone House again. I highly recommend this private GuestHouse to anyone looking to stay in the Kingston/Rhinebeck area. You will not be disappointed with the Hosts or their beautiful guest house.

Amazing pool house!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay here. Our kids were over the moon in the pool, which was clean and located in a lovely garden. The hosts provided everything we needed including a truly impressive number of towels. We would definitely book again!

The photos don't do the backyard justice. The hosts have managed to create an oasis. The heated pool and the hot tub were perfect for us after a long difficult day of travel!

Beautiful, Cozy Guesthouse

We had a wonderful stay in the guesthouse, which is thoughtfully decorated and stocked, and very clean. We came without a car and loved walking the surrounding neighborhood and admiring its historic homes. On a nice night, we recommend a short walk to Boice Brothers for ice cream and an afternoon at the Museum of Dinnerware is a must! We didn’t get to try out the pool or hot tub but are sure those would be lovely in warmer weather. Only note is that the shower stall is on the narrow side, understandable for an older house. Overall highly recommend the guesthouse for a Kingston stay!

Charming garden house

This little garden house just through the greenhouse was perfect for my husband & I. We stayed for 2 nights to attend a concert @ Ulster Performing Arts Center. Comfy furniture & well-stocked with towels, bedding, dishes, utensils, etc. We used the hot tub one night as well, which was really nice.

Wonderful stay!

Cottage was wonderful. Nice and clean close to all. We came back from dinner had the wrong address Sharon picked up immediately and helped us get back to the cottage. Pool was closed(October) but the hot tub was wonderful. We had a great time!

Anniversary Getaway

The property was delightful. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The guesthouse was well appointed and we even found ourselves playing cards which we haven’t done in years. The host Sharon suggested an Italian Restaurant..Savona’s Trattoria and it was the perfect place for our special day.

Great home base for our Kingston Visit

We had a great visit to Sharon's home in Kingston. The guesthouse had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and happy to provide recommendations for things to do around town! would definitely stay again.

Great Location

We had a very pleasant stay in Kingston. This guest house has great location less than mile from the historic district. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It might have been my error, but I did not realize that the bathroom was on the first floor and the bedroom was on the second floor. We are seniors who occasionally get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, so having to go down the stairs was inconvenient.
