Such a cute lodge. Everything was perfect and everything we needed was provided. Everything was clean and tidy. Close and convenient to our fishing charter and nearby town. We loved our stay and we be back someday!

House was clean and you walk down some stairs outside and you can fish/swim/float right off the dock.

Lovely little cabin

Great cabin along the river/estuary. It was cute, clean, roomy, and had everything one could need except an iron. I would stay here again! One thing to note is that there are only window A/C units, but they kept the cabin plenty cool on our stay. There is plenty of parking and the location was pretty quiet despite being near bridge/road. It was very peaceful.

Wonderful Fishing Lodge

Clean and comfortable lodge. Positioned with water views and nice dock to fish from. This camp is very well maintained. Would definitely stay at this camp again in the future!

Peaceful River Bliss

We loved our stay at this property. It's location is fantastic, with direct river access and a short drive to anything you need. It was incredibly clean and well maintained. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to enjoy a long weekend or a fishing trip, I highly recommend the Estuary Lodge!

Super clean and cute house

Cute little house and extremely clean with just the right amenities. Great little getaway. I’m glad Tailwater was booked because this was a much better deal getting a whole house at half the price, very clean and cozy and still close enough to meet up at the tailwater for a celebration.

Celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary. Fished with Tom Burke and had a great stay overall. I would recommend this to anyone.

Location was perfect! Property was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Had all the comforts of home. Communication was excellent and the host was quick to answer any questions. We kayaked right from the property, grilled on the barbeque and sat around a bonfire. Ate at some local restaurants which were a short drive away and shopped in town. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely return.

Riverside Getaway

The property is clean, quiet, comfortable, well equipped and as advertised/pictured. Lovely to be on the river. We were only there one night, and wish we'd booked it for longer!

The Barclay family are life-long residents of New York State’s North Country, where they engage with the local community, supporting their hometown of Pulaski, NY, and the region. They are strong advocates of sound environmental practices in fisheries, farming, and natural resources management.

The Barclay family opened Douglaston Salmon Run in 1987 as a private-water sports-fishery. The property has been in the family since 1807, when it was settled by Colonel Rufus Price, an Aide-de-Camp to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
