A well loved family cabin on a stunning lake. Some of the wear and tear was charming, but some teetered on safety concerns like holes in the patio decking, soft wood on the swim decking, and one of us fell through the bed. A bit of an ant problem in the kitchen.

Friends gathering in a wonderful location

Our friends like to get together to enjoy good food, good company, and good board gmes about twice a year and this location was perfect for it. Plenty of room to host activities and a well equipped kitchen to cook in for roughly 12 people and some day guests. Would definitely book again.

Great Family Get Together

My family and I recently stayed here to celebrate my brother's graduation from the Army Chaplain program. We loved waking up and having coffee on the dock, have areas large enough for large card games, and having enough room for everyone to have some space if needed. The house was quite dusty but being in the 'country' we did expect that to an extent. The property owner was very communicative and so helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Quaint private spacious place where we could enjoy. Big enough for all to have their own space, but still felt cozy. Great communication from property management. We would definitely stay here again

I went with a church small group. We couldnt have been happier. Host was amazing and answered all questions and was available. We loved the indoor and outdoor spaces. Wonderful stay.

Great family vacation!

Great family vacation with everything you could ask for. If you get dibs on the master on the 2nd floor the bed was super comfy! You can make every meal there, but can also head out for dinner. A lot of options within an hour. We went to Burger Tavern 77 in Columbia (45 minutes), it was delicious!

This lake house was great. This was the 2nd year staying at this house and both times was wonderful!!!! The large kitchen table was wonderful for us all to have yummy meals together. The owner was wonderful to work with if we had any questions. We definitely will be back again next year.

Absolutely loved the main house and location. Unfortunately we had an animal issue in the guest house during our stay. The owner responded immediately and had maintenance come out to address the issue but it still took a little away from our stay. Definitely enjoyed our stay though!

Wonderful Lake Wateree

This was a fabulous property for a family celebration in February. Beautiful lake front setting. Plenty of room for all 16 of us. The property was well-supplied inside and out for all that we wanted to do. Better than all of that was the property owner who did all that she could to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. While February was wonderful, summer would be incredible.

Family get Together

We stayed at this house 5 years ago and my boys and grandkids had such a great time everyone wanted to go back. The house is great with 8 bedrooms , 3 bathrooms, very nice kitchen and dining room area. The house right on lake Wateree SC and there is a dock for fish and swimming. They also have a paddleboard, kayak, and folding chairs to use. We all had a great time fishing and swimming it was a great family time together. We will defiantly be looking to book this house again as everyone wants to go back.

Beautiful and spacious home that comfortably housed all 16 in our group, ages 4-70. The property is well-equipped and supplied with everything we needed inside and out. While quite spacious, the house offers multiple small cozy gathering areas. The waterfront view is wonderful - great dock with two levels, fire ring, horseshoes, enough area for plenty of outdoor fun. It was wonderful in February; I'm sure it's fantastic in the summer. The owner was very attentive and went out of her way to make sure everything was great for us.

Positive experience

Overall we were very pleased with the property. Unfortunately we did have an issue with a squirrel getting into the guest house. The manager took care of it right away but our group wasn't comfortable staying in it after that. The main was great though with plenty of space.

One of the “coolest” houses I’ve ever rented!

Ok - it was a girls trip! 6 of us ladies in our 60s and 70s so you get the picture! Drinking wine in that gorgeous gorgeous house - one of the ladies starting screaming and running around when she first saw the house she was so dang excited about how cool it was and the beautiful setting on the lake! Such a private setting! So much room to gather and or have peace by yourself! And the kitchen!!! Has everything!!! We had so much fun cooking and snacking and breakfast bacon! And watching the sunrise from the top deck of the dock! What pictures!! Then the last night having a huge fire in the fire pit by the lake just topped it off. It was all so so fabulous! And I so appreciated the owner telling me the history of the house - made it even more special!! You’ve got to rent it - it is spectacular! It completely reminded us of “On Golden Pond” but much bigger!

Great Weekend Ladies Bookcation

Our bookclub takes a long weekend every year to somewhere secluded, comfortable, and beautiful. This cabin did not disappoint. We arrived on Thursday and did not leave until Sunday, so we can't tell you anything about the surrounding area. But we can tell you: - we felt safe enough to take our regular runs and stay out on the dock well after dark - the variety of spaces suited a wide age gap - inside, screen porch, covered dock, dock in the sun. - the internet was great We did not use the TV so we can't speak to the cable. Also, be prepared for plumbing issues (there was a backup in the guest house), but the host was very responsive and had the situation handled quickly (and it was a weekend). There are only three bathrooms, so the speed at which the problem was handled was appreciated. The kitchen is equipped and has more spices than any of us have ever seen in a rental. We appreciated that very much. The stove is gas, so if you aren't accustomed, it can take some getting used to. The home was beautiful, and many ladies suggested we not look for another place, and just come back here next year.

Wonderful, rustic home. Lots of bedrooms, huge kitchen table, 2 screened in porches with view of lake, big stove for cooking and great dock. We had a great family vacation at a nice spot on Wateree Lake!

Beautiful place! Cabin is giant with plenty of room. Lake is gorgeous! Boat Dock was incredible. Lots of fun things to do! House has everything…all you need to bring is food. I brought my ski boat and it was a blast! Very quit! Never left the house except for the lake! Service was great! Super nice people! I will rent this house again!!!
