I wish I could muster the outrage that I should for this review, but sadly, all I can do is laugh... :) Just reading her review brings to mind PTSD flashbacks of the 3 days straight they blew up my and my 24 hour guest line, as well as email after email after email (replete with pictures!) listing the HORRORS of the home. These horrors include (exhibit A) A chair with a cross brace that was LOOSE! (exhibit B) a hinge in a door of a bedside table that was missing a screw! (exhibit C) evidence of a cockroach infestation-1 lone dead cockroach under a lamp, which, by their profession was the ONLY one they found :) and (exhibit D) a picture of the fridge with condiments in the door, including ketchup, mustard, olive oil, etc that we leave for our guests, because we know what a pain it is to go buy those things every time we stay in a Vacation rental house. These multiple, hard sought infractions caused this poor lady to freak out, run and buy $200 of cleaning supplies (despite the well stocked variety under the sink) and expect me to reimburse her for that. Now, don't get me wrong! I am all about customer service! After the initial call that she made to me, LITERALLY CRYING, I immediately sent over our 24 hour maintenance man, and offered to send over the cleaning lady to have her clean the house according to her "specifications". She refused the cleaning lady but had my maintenance guy over there for 5 hours while she marched him around, making him throw away all my cleaning products, tighten screws in a rollaway that they weren't even using, etc, etc. My maintenance man called me, and told me he was super confused as to why she was acting like this, but I begged him to just do what she asked, we were going to make her happy. Apparently that didn't work, because she still blew up my phones and emails for the next 48 hours, and sent me picture after picture, proving that there was a pen in the couch cushion, afore mentioned lone, deceased cockroach under the lamp, a loose door knob to the water heater, etc, etc. Initially, my office girl took her very seriously, and spoke to her while she cried, again and again, for hours. After my staff literally doing EVERYTHING they possibly could to make her happy, including refunding their entire cleaning fee, it was determined that the guest sanity was in question.
*THE GOOD NEWS* My house is now the most well maintained, nit-picked over home on the VRBO roster thanks to these folks!
