The System Shutdown was an amazing Oceanfront home. Our family celebrated Thanksgiving and a 70th birthday during our stay and it was a wonderful time. We saw incredible sunrises and dolphins swimming right out front. In addition to the location, the accommodations were great and the hosts were very welcoming and quick to respond. It was a FIVE star stay!!! Thanks for all the memories!!

This house is so beautifully perfect, you wish it was yours! We loved every bit of it and enjoyed every minute of our stay! It’s lovely while also being extremely comfortable. It has a great configuration of rooms so that our whole crowd was happy with their accommodations. The oceanfront setting is superb. We loved everything about our stay and were sad to leave after a relaxing week!

Wonderful

Enjoyed our recent stay at System Shutdown. The views are spectacular. The large deck is great with comfortable furniture that accommodates everyone. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with glasses,dishes, silverware, utensils, and cookware. The labeling in cabinets where items belong was very helpful. I cannot express what a great place this is. We enjoyed it so much that I have already booked it again for 2026.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at System Shutdown. The house was clean and loved the sunrises. The house was good but needs a few updates, nothing major (dryer ran constantly and took clothes a long time to dry, bathroom drawers were broken) nothing major. Would be great if hooks on the outside to hang wet towels and swim suits near the outdoor shower Again, great time was had by all!!

Wonderful location!

Great location- right on the beach and in the quieter part of the area, but easy drive to the restaurants and more commercial areas of Kure/ Carolina Beach. Home was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Perfect family beach vacation.

Wonderful trip!

System Shutdown was perfect for our family. The house is in an amazing location. The decks were so nice to hang out on and we saw dolphins on multiple occasions. The beds were very comfortable as well. It is also well stocked with lots of board games, which my kids loved. ITrip was very helpful and easy to work with. Thank you for an amazing experience!

System Shutdown

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a cozy, 3 level home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate many guests. The kitchen and dining area was spacious with a great ocean view. The deck was huge with a fence and gate for beach access. We would highly recommend this home due to it’s proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and area businesses.

Great oceanfront home

Beautiful oceanfront home with a great family atmosphere. Location is convenient to KB CB and Fort Fisher. Very relaxing.
